Came here for a Sunday brunch and had the most wonderful experience. Our server, Natalie, gave us such great service, and the food was SO good we just about inhaled everything. Love the view from our table by the windows, too. 🪟
The Timbers restaurant has an attached bar and lounge with open seating and a full menu. They also have a few sandwich selections on their bar-only menu, so I ordered the chicken Caprese sandwich with a side salad. My parents ordered (and split) a French dip style sandwich with onion rings, and they loved it. Both meals were expertly prepared and very delicious. The staff members were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the relatively quiet ambiance near the fireplace, with an occasional cheer from the patrons when the Huskers scored during the game. Overall, a very pleasant experience!
Despite the restaurant not being busy, service was remarkably slow. Most of the menu is decent, although very overpriced. For appetizers, the brussel sprouts and hummus were alright. For dinner, the table ordered the ribeye, saffron risotto, salmon, and beef pot roast. Myself and another had the risotto, which was soggy and had few flavors. The ribeye was cooked well, and so was the pot roast. For dessert, we shared the apple cobbler, which was grainy in texture. The drink menu was also just okay. Overall, I wouldn't recommend coming here due to the high prices and slow service.
Absolutely amazing restaurant! The food and service are without a doubt the best I’ve experienced. Special thanks to Rebecca, who always makes us feel so welcome. She goes out of her way to make our non alcoholic drinks special and crafty. I have eaten here with my husband quite a few times now. We can both say, we have never been disappointed with a dish. The dish’s are appealing not only to the palate but, the eyes as well. They are beautiful crafted. Almost too pretty to eat, we enjoy every morsel. The waitresses are also very attentive and keep the dinning area very clean, neat and tidy. All around amazing experience. Come dine with them and you won’t be disappointed.
Food was okay not sure if it was really worth the price tag attached to it. And for a wedding party of two tables, they got their food before ours... when we all had been seated 15 minutes beforehand.
We just happened to be driving through town on our way to Kansas and decided to stop here for lunch. The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant is nice but there aren't enough tables to sit by the windows and enjoy the view. The food is good enough but way over-priced. The menu is small and the wait for our food was long.
Beautiful ambiance, great server Devin, and exquisite fine dining. Ribeye and chicken parmco. COKE products YEAH!@##@
Amazing experience! My fiancé and I were visiting Lied Lodge for the weekend to consider it for our wedding venue and it was also our 12 year anniversary. We’re huge foodies so good food was make or break for us and WOW is all we can say. Our first night our server was Devon, who checked in frequently, made great suggestions on what we should order and helped create the best experience we’ve had dining out in a long time. We visited for breakfast in the morning, I ordered the chicken fried steak which was super good, the potato hash was delicious (cannot recommend enough) and that night came back for dinner and had a different server Treva, very sweet woman, and Devon was also there, still checking in with us to make sure everything went just as good as when we were one of his tables and it was another outstanding night. The manager seemed to also be working the floor, it didnt seem to be due to staffing as he engaged with guests and seemed to enjoy being in the front of the house, and was very friendly to us. We ordered the caprese flatbread (Devon’s recommendation), the knife burger (solid burger, fries are delicious!), country fried steak, French toast, pretzel bread, the filet mignon and beef ribeye (you haven’t had good potatoes till you have the Timber’s potatoes essentially). All of this was amazing food over the weekend, we were very spoiled by the Timbers. We got the flourless chocolate torte TWICE!!! Because it was that good (once again Devon’s recommendation). We live 45 min away and plan on returning at least once a month to enjoy the food the Timbers has to offer so do yourself a favor and stop in if you get the chance!
