Timberline Glamping Company - Lake Lanier - Hotel in Cumming - 7800 Allyn Ln Memorial Way, USA

Me and my fiancé Kristen were at the Lula, Georgia location over the Veterans holiday weekend and it was absolutely amazing even though the weather was cold and on and off rain the tent stayed nice and warm and dry. Our son enjoyed playing on the playground with the other kids. There is plenty to do and see on the property as well as in the surrounding areas. We went on several nice scenic drives through the mountains and Helen, Ga. is only about 45 minutes away depending on which route you’re taking. We will definitely be back soon.

We had a nice time at Timberline Glamping. The tent was beautifully decorated and right on the water. It was exactly as pictured. There was a heater and a fan. The heater definitely came in handy. However, I do recommend if you are going with little children make sure you check the weather. It rained the entire time we were there. We went for my sons 6 birthday and had to stay inside the tent. It would have been so nice if we could have explored or lit a camp fire. We did venture off to the Great Wolfe Lodge to play arcade games and grab lunch. In the middle of the night the rain/wind wiped so hard and was so loud. It woke me, my husband and 2 year old up so we were up all night consoling him. I’m so glad we brought extra blankets bc it did get very cold even with the heater. The 6 year old slept right through it. Our six year old said he loved camping and would do it again! Mom and dad may wait till the 2 year is a little older. I do think if the weather was better he would have slept the whole night. All in all we are looking forward to trying it again next year. I know the host can not control the weather 😁

We love Timberline Glamping! This was our third stay with them at Lake Lanier and it gets better every time we stay there. The views are wonderful and our kids have the best time. We have stayed in the summer heat and in the cold and both times we were extremely comfortable inside the glamping tent. Thank you for helping us make wonderful family memories Timberline!

We had the absolute best experience with Timberline at Lake Lanier. The sites are set-up perfectly, everything was clean and designed beautifully. My son left behind a pillow that is very special to him and they went above and beyond to help us get it back. It was an excellent visit and wonderful family trip, overall, but to also have such incredible customer service put it over the top. I HIGHLY recommend this location and tip idea, whether you are doing a staycation or coming in from out of town!!

The tent is spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms at Shady Grove were kept incredibly clean. However, I felt communication was really lacking as I had emailed and called about being given the wrong sized life jackets for the kayak and paddle boards we rented and while they brought them quickly the next day, it would have been nice to have my request acknowledged so that I would know they had received it. Also the hammocks were really weather worn so it completely ripped apart while I was sitting on it and I ended up falling flat on to the rocks and roots beneath me ending up with scrapes and bruises all over my back and side so we left early to get home and take care of all that and when I messaged to say we checked out early and why/what happened no one ever acknowledged that either. So overall the stay itself was nice but customer service is definitely lacking.

This was our second stay at a Timberline Glamping site and we are already talking about our next trip! Clean with all the comforts a glamorous camper would need! Great for friends and families! Corbin was super responsive and helpful whether we needed additional firewood or a recommendation for a wine tasting! We’ll be back!

We stayed at the Timberline Glamping in Williamsburg, VA. To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. When we arrived, our tent was ready for us with welcoming string lights, the AC was on and the interior of the tent was beautiful. The beds were SO comfy. Everything was super clean and we had a beautiful view of the river. Another amazing thing about this was the front deck. It was covered and also had a ceiling fan. I can honestly say I am ruined for regular tent camping!! The bath house shower area could use an upgrade, but not so terrible that I didn't want to use the showers. We only stayed for two nights, but I found myself wishing we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!! I hope that Timberline Glamping sets up more sites closer to Maryland! Thanks for the great stay and beautiful accommodations!!

We had a wonderful time at Timberline Glamping this past Labor Day weekend! The accommodations are very nice, it brings "Glamping" to a whole new level! The interior design is beautiful! Everything is very well planned out at this facility. It was so nice to have AC and a refrigerator while camping. Having the restrooms/bath house directly across from the site was a nice convenience as well. This site is beautiful and offers many amenities! The views of Lake Lanier and the creek are beautiful! The sunrise from the glamping site is SPECTACULAR! Do yourself a favor and visit this hidden GEM!
