Tikka Shack Indian Grub - Indian restaurant in Lubbock - 2407 9th St #500, USA

So far my favorite restaurant here in Lubbock . Never experienced anything like it and I am a curry fanatic ! I absolutely love curry and the flavor profiles of what I’ve had so far have never been short of amazing . Great portions . Nearly about 2-3 servings for me in one curry dish . I love the Masala fries also but so far my favorite curry dishes are the Aloo Saag, (which is what is photographed here) , and the Goan Vindaloo. I always get the garlic naan opposed to original . I love their point system cause I usually get my garlic naan free with my points . I definitely planned to try other dishes , and have but these are simply my favorites. I love the atmosphere, the music , the team , the complimentary peppermints , and the beautiful plants inside . This location (Texas tech) I prefer over the other . The chefs are fantastic ! These are very intentional recipes down to the basmati rice style which is quite unique . These ppl know their herbs and seasons very well . And the textures are wonderful . I cook too so i am very flavor aware and tend to be very selective with my preferences . Sure to get you full and have some for later . Very colorful menu and wholesome personalities ! 5 stars ! 🪅🌟🌟🌟🪅😋

So I had the Masala fries and you can never go wrong with them the consistency is always there. I wanted to try something new, so I got their pizza and added steak and let me tell it was probably one of the best combinations iv had from the chain the Naan was so fresh and good with thr tomatoes this is a definite must try.

I have tried a handful of the options on the menu, and all of them have been savory and delicious! The butter masala might be my favorite. And the rice and naan are so good! They have great vegetarian options, and the portions are filling.

Nice place for sit in and eat. Very clean n spacious place. Food options r limited however not bad at all n the food is Halal. Love the way its survived. Very nice vibe

We had the southern curry and vindaloo. Both were excellent. The Shack naan was amazing too. Highly recommend and will be returning for sure.

We had the worst experience ever at this place today. We ordered the Lamb Biriyani that was a complete garbage. It’s not even a food we can call!!!. It was so sticky but the rice was half cooked. No biriyani spice at all. Felt like some leftover food. We complained immediately and they replaced with the same thing after 10 minutes. Complete waste of time and money🙁🙁 The authority should bring some chef who can cook!! Not some random people who knows nothing about Indian food!!! Note: We have been eaten at this place before. The food was ok before.

I have to give 1 star that because there is no option to give zero star. I ordered tikka masala and garlic naan, they send me tikka masala with chopped raw green chillies on top and pita bread as garlic naan which they charged me $2.25 per naan🤮. Don't ever order from this restaurant. This is my first review ever and It is so shameful that i have to write such a bad review for an Indian restaurant.

Loved the decor Food is good except that the kids have limited choices for most of the food is spicy. Hope they provide seats for kids soon.
