Tiki Lodge Motel - Motel in Medford - 509 N Riverside Ave, USA

When I first got there I thought it was alright for the cheap price. I arrived at 3pm and stayed till 1:40am before realizing that the bed was infested with a terrifying number of bed bugs. I quickly packed my things and went to the staff to check out and inform them of the bed bugs. When I brought it up I was accused of lying despite having proof and was told that there were no complaints allowed. If the large number of bed bugs and poor staff wasn’t enough of a warning, the parking lot was full of sketchy unwanted people.

This hotel felt cheaper than it cost. I was safe for the night and the beds were comfy enough but it was hot (it's July) because they didn't have any air on before I got there and the walls had dirt stains, graffiti in the restroom, the toilet seat was dated and broken, there were deodorant label stickers stuck to the mirror and wall. The area had people walking around at night coming out of the fences but the bed was mostly comfortable and no one bothered me

The room was spacious with free WIFI and the bed was comfortable. The room was quiet and as it was hot outside we appreciated that the air conditioner worked well. The price was reasonable for the area. We would stay here again when we are in Medford.

Nice enough rooms & the employees don't seem to bother you unless you have way to many friends coming to your room all hours of the night, then they will sometimes say something to you like you can't have guests? Which doesn't make sense really if someone is renting a room they should be allowed to have anyone they want over.

AAA had the listing on their website, my mistake for relying upon AAA in searching for a hotel. This place is a total dump. Broken light and fan in the bathroom, a previous guest's hair in the shower, the bath mat had dirty streaks from the previous guest, missing screws in the unit, and the bathroom faucet barely worked. The vinyl floor was so dirty I wore my socks rather than go barefoot. There was someone who played loud music ALL NIGHT long. Perhaps it was the same person but there was someone pounding nails (like with a hammer) almost all night. When I went to check out I tried to bring up the noise issue to the manager but he didn't even bother to look up from his voice call. The location is terrible, it is not close to I-5.

Pro: Close proximity to the airport. Cons: The room was disgusting, it had food on the wall, the microwave didn't have the glass plate in it, the lamp had no knob to turn it on (and when my husband said something about the light not working, the manager said to turn the knob... Umm, there is NO knob), knobs on the dresser were missing, someone drew on the wall, cracks all over the floor, no chain on the door, crack in the sink, huge hole in the blanket, my husband squished bugs (not sure what they were) and there was NO TOILET PAPER in the bathroom. When my husband and I finished checking in, around 5 guys came out of their room and watched everything we did (it was around 11:30pm) it was really uncomfortable. Then when we seen all that was wrong with the room, we checked out after being there maybe 5 minutes and drove all the way to Roseburg. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE SINGLE OR YOUNG CHILDREN.

Avoid this motel at all cost I killed a dead bug upon arrival then took some pictures. Oh my God this place is a business. I don’t understand. We took our eight year old son over to Medford for his eighth birthday and wound up in a complete disaster between Expedia and the hotel, not refunding us. We didn’t even unpack yet some pictures of this grotesque room not fit for anyone. I would rather stay in a truckstop bathroom. Anyways, after hours of battling, we received a refund through Expedia. And the clerk is a jerk for sure. This is my first negative review of anything ever because I don’t believe in bad mouthing businesses but these guys have it coming. Do not stay here.

**T**raveling through the Northwest, we expected delight, **H**owever, our stay here quickly turned into a plight. **E**ncounters with the manager were met with disdain, **T**his inhospitable figure caused us much strain. **I**nitial greetings lacked warmth and cheer, **K**indness was absent, our comfort not near. **I**n need of fresh towels, a simple request, **L**ed to resistance, leaving us stressed. **O**verlooked our wish to relax and unwind, **D**enied our needs, leaving comfort behind. **G**loomy the room, lacking amenities fair, **E**xperienced cockroach and cleanliness rare. **M**anager’s scowl made our stay quite severe, **E**very encounter brought more tension and fear. **D**amaged furniture, sagging and stained, **F**eeling uneasy, our patience was strained. **O**nly the bed brought some solace in sight, **R**elief from discomfort was a brief delight. **D**isappointing overall, the service was weak. **O**ur complaints met with a perpetual scowl, **R**ealizing the staff’s demeanor was foul. **E**ssential deposits became a thorn, **G**uest care was lacking, we felt so forlorn. **O**ur advice to travelers: beware and forewarn, **N**ever again will we stay, deeply we mourn.
