Scheduled a spray tanning appointment for an event, the following day. It was for my daughter, which I advised the receptionist who scheduled the appointment . Upon arrival, I was asked for ID for both myself and underage daughter. My daughter did not have her school ID or birth certificate on her as requested. We were denied the appointment . The receptionist was rude, condescending & argumentative. No customer service at all. Would not recommend. It’s obvious they didn’t want our business.

My experience with the staff and the management of Tiki Image Tanning Salon was absolutely terrible. I was met with unwelcoming staff members who would never get back to me about any questions I had. I would always be told that they will ask a manager and get back to me but no one would ever get back to me. After 2 months I wanted to cancel my membership with them and I called to cancel. I was informed that my membership will be canceled but I will be charged for the month. I was not going to pay for a service I did not receive. When I asked for the manager I was met with even more unprofessionalism. Instead of management asking me why I want to cancel my membership with them or why I no longer want to get my service done with them she continues to only speak about the money aspect of it and say “it's our policy you need to pay for the upcoming month and if you wanted to cancel you needed to do it 5 days before.” Which I found to be very unprofessional for a manager to say. I was canceling 4 days before the month started. Even after I said “okay I understand that that's your policy but that's all you care about. As a manager you should care about why a customer is choosing to leave in the first place” she again continues to say that I need to pay for the month. They ended up charging me for the month that hasn't even started yet. When I found the manger didn't ask about my reasons to leave, I asked her to give me the owner's contact information but she refused then told me she will send the owner message to let her contact me, but that never happened. This place has horrible staff who do not care about customer satisfaction, and an unwelcoming environment to be in. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I used to go there a couple years ago and I had monthly plan. Well I went back once this year and I was not impressed with it at all. I am olive skin so I already have a base and I just wanted to look like I was out in the sun during spring break. The girls were not very friendly at all. I had to fill out paperwork and when I was done she said on never mind you are in the system. I bought a one time session that was supposed to be levels 5 and 10 minutes I packet of lotion and pink finger tip covers 57dollars! . Well when I got barley a tan it wasn’t even a little bit hot and the digital timer said 4 - 8 minutes. I think I was ripped off and I will never spend 60 bucks for 8 minutes on anything.again.

Love this tanning salon! Very clean and the girls are nice. My only complaint is that the music in the hybrid bed (the highest plan you can buy) seems broken? It used to be nice and loud and now it’s not. And the water is never filled so it doesn’t mist you like it’s supposed to. I wish they would take the time to properly keep their best (most expensive) bed at it’s best, but even not at 100% the tanning bed is still amazing. Overall it’s the best tanning salon I’ve been to in Jersey. And the vibe is really cute too, very light and bright. 4/5 stars :)

I have been coming here on and off for several years. I had several friends recommend another salon. So glad I came back to this one. The staff is always so nice, answers any questions you have, welcome you as soon as you walk through the door, they are just simply a pleasure. With all the craziness over the past year, you don't always get greeted with the kindness and positive attitude. These ladies are always smiling!

Was greeted by Samantha who was polite and professional. I am a Service Manager for a large bank and find it rare that young workers lack good customer service skills.. but not Samantha. She deserves this recognition. Kudos Samantha and keep up the great customer service delivery with your beautiful smile.

I’ve been a customer of Tiki Image for years. I’ve always had a good experience with the tanning beds and walk in service or last minute appointments. This was my first experience with spray tanning. It was a last minute appointment and the girls fit me in without a problem. Morgan was the technician. She is such a sweetheart! She made me feel very comfortable...gave me instructions during the process...such a professional! My tan came out beautifully and it looks so natural! I’m definitely going to go back for a spray tan in the future! Thank you Morgan! You did a great job! Theresa

Being picky and trying a couple places first, I have to say Tiki Image of Ocean is by far my favorite place. The employees are a great group of girls that are very polite and well put together. I was greated as soon as I walked through the door. They were very informative and honest when helping me choose which service was best for me. After already being to a couple different places, they were the only ones who made me feel confident with my choice. Unbeatable prices with a great payment plan! Everything is was very clean and organized. I was able to leave feeling refreshed. Truly a great experience. Definitley will be a loyal customer; highly recommend!!!!
