Beautiful, beautiful little (big?) neighborhood park! Lovely little unpaved paths meandering through the brush and trees, a paved loop, grassy areas, and playground. Surrounded by backyards on all sides so there's no traffic driving by to worry about if you have kids. A path leads to the park from the street on each side of the park. Nice and quiet, perfect place to take the dog on a stroll!
Cons:
No bathrooms
A little bit isolated
The bridge is not kid friendly at all. Very steep angles, no traction, and huge gaps where kids can fall through.
No parking. You can park at the entrance at 86th & 149th and walk down the path into the park.
Pros:
Really great play structure other than the bridge
Two regular swings and one baby swing
Lots of benches and shade
A lot of beautiful grassy areas
Is surrounded by dense forest areas
Lots of mature trees
Plenty of animals to watch and enjoy on the nature trails.
Great little neighborhood park. Not very busy and lots of open space with little trails. Nice play structure for kids. A good little hidden gem.
This was a fun adventure my son and I had while e-scooter exploring. The park was nice with new play equipment and plenty of green soace
We finally found it! The entrance was a bit hard to find - theres no on site parking so need to curb park and walk up a short walkway. Definitely shielded from normal traffic which is wonderful. What a gem.
Beautiful neighborhood park big enough to find solitude if needed. Had a nice play structure and the neighbors are as friendly as the dog being walked.
One small issue, it needs a welcoming sign that explains the name of the park and the surrounding area.
No bathroom.
Super fun place to hangout at, love the trees there and also love climbing them. The playground makes it even better.
Such a cute and quaint neighborhood park! It’s always very clean and is nicely tucked into a wooded area away from all streets. You walk a short distance to access the park but the trails are paved and well-kept. It’s so peaceful to relax and play away from the sights/sounds of the city - an unusual find!
