This school and the instructors are amazing. They not only teach martial arts but the life lessons they teach the kids along with respect and living a disciplined life is great as well. My sons self confidence has grown along with his strength I highly recommend the Syosset school to anyone looking to train in martial arts from an adult to a kid

Hands down the absolute BEST! My husband and I both started training after seeing how incredible the instructors were with our son. After just having a baby, and being stuck home with 2 little ones during pandemic, I was in need of a change. The classes are fun, challenging, and motivating. Learning self defense has endless benefits, both mentally and physically. Truly the best workout! We couldn’t be more grateful to be apart of the tiger schulmanns family.

I can't say enough about Tiger Schulmann's Syosset. I've been a proud student for over 15 years now. I credit Shihan Nick Gravina, his instructors and the format of classes there, with changing my health trajectory...and therefore my life. If you're like me and need some outside motivation to jump start and help maintain your consistency in working out, there is no better place. You get out of this what you put into it....at the bare minimum, it is the BEST workout around...AND if you want to learn how to develop some self-defense/fighting skills, there's an unlimited opportunity to do so!

My son has been training at Tiger Schulmans Syosset for 3 years now and he loves it! The increase in confidence and discipline are so evident and they are great about communicating with the kids on the expectations for leveling up. Love the connection to life skills and using focus in their day to day.

It's hard to describe ourselves as "customers" or "clients" because it's very clear, from the moment you step into the school, that you're somewhere between student and family. My wife, 2 children, and I have trained there for nearly 5 years. We often drive by the school and remark how an entire world lies behind those small doors in a strip mall. Our instructors are kind, but also challenge us. The focus is more on learning techniques and abilities, and in that context getting a great workout. Other places (at least that I've seen) have great workouts, but without any practical application. Ultimately this school operates with a deep philosophy of caring, challenge, and desire to genuinely improve the students. We're lucky to be part of this community.

When I signed my boys up for martial arts I never thought I would be joining a family but that is what we got. The instructors are absolutely incredible with the perfect amount of discipline and humor. They are always encouraging my boys to try harder and do better. And with COVID-19 and the stay at home order, there has been no interruption in training. This family has taken care of each other. The Tiger Schulmann Syosset team adapted and overcame by moving training online. I highly recommend joining the Tiger Schulmann family.

Tiger Schulmanns's has been a part of of our sons life since he was 4, now almost turning 10 it's still a big part of his weekly routine. It has taught him discipline, and improved confidence in addition to self defense skills. The support my son has received from the instructors and staff is immeasurable.

We were looking for a place for our son to train in MMA. The first place we tried was promising on paper but once we started it turned out the classes were very “fun” oriented but not very productive in teaching MMA skills and also their schedule was very limited and we wanted more options for when to to take classes. After doing some more research we discovered Tiger Schulmann Syosset and decided to give it a try. That was the best decision we could ever make. TSMMA Syosset has many classes every day for all levels. You have classes from “Cubs” in pre-K to Adults and from complete beginners to advanced sparring classes. They have morning, afternoon and evening classes, almost every day, which can fit anyone’s schedule. A year later I joined the Adult classes and also became hooked. All the classes are run by highly trained and experienced instructors that give personal attention to each student and provide not only top notch technical instruction but also lots of positive motivation about healthy living. The comradeship among the students in the school is terrific.
