Tiffins Restaurant - African restaurant in Orlando - 2901 Osceola Pkwy, Discovery Island, USA

Tiffins is a classy, calm escape from the bustling Animal Kingdom. The bread appetizer is a must with numerous bread and interesting jam options. Service is classy and over the top in a welcoming and feel good vibe, proud to show off the original artwork throughout the restaurant. Our server was extended knowledgeable about the menu and although the options were pricey, the entire family enjoyed our meal! Beer menu had options from around the world and wine pairings are available for each meal on the menu, as well as wine flights!

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in animal kingdom. The service is unmatched. Our server Tony truly cares about your experience, made us feel very welcomed in here, and don’t get me started on the food is absolutely amazing!! , props to all the chefs for the wonderful meal, everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had in a while. Highly recommend! (Thank you chef Jonathan for making my friends feel very welcomed, it was an experienced they’ll never forget)

Love this restaurant. It’s a really nice sit down and one I really recommend. Menu is adventurous yet familiar. I’m so glad we stopped for a meal and drinks here. Definitely recommend. Loved everything and most importantly check out all of the imagineer photos from their trips overseas that actually helped create Animal Kingdom. So cool to also see the handmade wood carvings from Bali. The family Disney hired to make these for the interior also made other carvings for the park.

The food here is really good, and the service is outstanding! At the end of a long day, we initially got seated next to a large party with 5 rather rowdy kids. Our waiter had no problem relocating us to a quieter table, and we are very grateful! Even from across the room, the kids could still be heard yelling and carrying on, but it would have been unbearable from two feet away. The bread service is good (but not as good as Sanaa). The lobster mac & cheese is very good - nice a creamy with a fair amount of lobster. The shrimp and grits were awesome - perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The rooms are beautifully decorated, injecting the feel of the Animal Kingdom into the dining experience. I loved hearing the stories behind some of the decor.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST RESTAURANT IN DISNEY WORLD!! I have been to a lot of signature dining here in Disney World, yet this is by far the best restaurant among them all. When we went there, I had the pleasure to enjoy their award winning Tiffins signature bread sampler for appetizer, Whole Fried Sustainable Fish for my main course, and The Lion King for dessert. I have never had an experience quite like this before. The quality and taste on each course is remarkable. Make sure to have your reservation here before going to Animal Kingdom. You will never be disappointed. I will make sure to have this on my list every time I go back to Disney. I think that this is also an attraction (even though it is a restaurant) that must be experienced by everyone going to Animal Kingdom. Douglas, our server, was very professional and courteous. Top-notch customer service and a standard that is Disney worthy.

If I have pick one restaurant to dine in among four Disney theme parks, then Tiffins would top the list. And for some strange reasons, it's relatively easy to make a reservation to dine at Tiffins. I was able to make a dinner reservation on Christmas day for my friends, just on 24 hrs notice. Even though the interior design of the restaurant convey the theme of Africa and Animal Kingdom - which was super cool - they did not try too hard to infuse African flavors. Just a slight inspiration of Africa and it was just about perfect. Tiffins also put enormous effort to create Michelin-like food presentation without the high-end price tag. Service was impeccable. My server had great understanding of all menu items. The teamwork between the FOH (front of house) & BOH (back of house) was seamless. Make sure to claim your discount if you are AP or DVC members. I've been recommending Tiffins to my colleagues for years and I will revisit soon. Very soon.

Tiffins is an excellent higher end restaurant located within the Animal Kingdom park. The food and service here were very good as expected. The interior dining rooms are separated and not very large so it definitely provides a reprieve from the crowds outside. As for the cuisine itself, it is billed as a mix of South African and South American cuisine but I felt like a lot of the menu options weren't terribly exotic or unique. If you're looking for something particularly unique, Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge resort has a more interesting menu. That said, this restaurant is the nicest dining you will find within the Animal Kingdom park if that's what you're looking for.

Delicious food. Solid service. Beautiful interior. Try the bread service and stuffed dates. Both were delicious. They had a unique take on all of the dishes. For example, the Butter Chicken was not all mixed together but instead a moist chicken breast artfully displayed with the sauce for dipping. The Lion King dessert was not great. They are excellent with dealing with food allergies.
