Tides Inn was, without a doubt, the best place I have ever stayed in all my trips to Florida in my 62 years. I was amazed at how beautifully kept this property was. It was absolutely pristine! My room was perfect. The mattress on the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. Best mattress I have ever slept on and I wish I had one at home on my bed. Even the pillows were so wonderful. The room had everything I needed for my stay there. There is no way to put into words how genuinely pleased I was at the wonderful staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I was always greeted with the smile. Every single day it was as if everyone was so happy to see me and wanted to make sure my every need was taken care of. The beach umbrella and chair was free and were set up for me every day as soon as I was ready. I never had to wait. I just can’t say enough about the staff and how much I loved every one of them. I will never stay anywhere else when I go to Fort Lauderdale and I actually have two more trips planned in 2024 and have already booked my room with them. If you stay here you definitely won’t be disappointed.

We stayed here for the first time and I was really impressed with the level of service , Reynaldo 👱🏼‍♂️ welcomed us at the front desk with a smile and a genuine willingness to help, our room was ready and impeccable by the way, he was also very kind to remind us about how we can request anything we might need. On our way from the room to the beach this young kind fellow from the Hotel approached us to offer us a couple of beach chairs I was delightful to have that gesture and regretted not to ask about his name, at the end of our staying I had this feeling of not telling anyone 🤫 about this gem 💎 on the beach and keep it to ourselves 😉 . I am originally from Mexico and the whole experience reminded me of our known Hospitality. I will definitely be back to the Tides Inn . ✨☀️💫🌴.

The staff is so nice and helpful, there was someone on property constantly wiping things down and sweeping outside. Super cute, small hotel and I felt safe letting my son run from the beach or pool to our room if he needed to. Walkable to restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay here again. It’s hard to find a beach hotel with character I can stay in because of the mold and my asthma, but this one was clean and no mold smell because every room had been redone.

We have stayed multiple times at Tides Inn. This quaint motel is perfectly located in the heart of Lauderdale by the Sea. Sporting only 12 rooms right on the beach, it is impeccably clean and well cared for. The staff cannot so enough for you and Reynaldo is spectacular! They have bikes, paddle boards available, they will set up umbrellas and chairs in the beach for you. The pool area is great and they have a space for sandbags and hammocks. Love this place. It is our absolute go to when in Lauderdale by the Sea.

We were warmly greeted upon arrival, our room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, but the best part was sitting outside in the morning under our covered porch, overlooking the pool and hammocks on the lawn, watching the sunrise over the ocean. It’s conveniently located, a half-mile walk to town and five minutes to Publix. Our only complaint was that the beds are memory foam and slightly too soft for us. Other than that, we highly recommend the Tides Inn and can’t wait to return.

I go to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea several times by the year. This was my first time at this hotel and will be me last. Where to begin?||---The walls are paper-thin and you will hear your neighbor and those above you. We were awakened every single morning, between 6am and 7am. I mean, we heard people at all times, but the early morning wake ups were the worst.||---the beds are horribly uncomfortable. They are very low platform beds with just a mattress. Our room had 2 full size beds.||---our room had an adjoining door to the room next door, which is a negative for me||---Our A/C did not cool our room.||---Every time you want beach chairs, you have to go to the office and ask for them which we found very inconvenient. Then, of course, you're expected to tip the guy that sets them up for you. I'd prefer to get my own chairs, when I want.||---There are late check out fees, which I found a bit high. An extra $50 for checkout at 1pm and $150 (!!) for up to 6pm.||--They do NOT have a public restroom. So if your room isn't ready or you check out early (they will store your bags), you don't have a bathroom. We were told to go to a nearby hotel tiki bar's bathroom or Publix. |||There are better options in LBTS.|

We just spent 4 nights at Tides Inn. It is a very cute boutique hotel. Very picturesque. We enjoyed the pool it was clean and warm and not busy. Lots of pool toys and floats available. Our room was nice and the bed was comfortable (apt #8.) The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. We arrived early and they let us check in before check in time, which was much appreciated. The hotel was also really close to the Publix which was an easy 3-4 min walk away. ||A few things to note. |# 1... I was uncomfortable that there was no deadlock on the room door and anyone with the code could just enter the room. In addition there was a door in our room that was to a connecting room. That door was opened TWICE by cleaning staff while we were in bed. Unacceptable invasion of privacy and made us feel very uncomfortable. |#2...I booked this specific room because I need to cook for my gluten free son. The photos online make it look like there is a microwave AND an oven. There is no oven. There was a countertop microwave and a broken built in microwave. I struggled to make the meals I had bought ingredients for because I did not notice before I went shopping. Many items I bought ended up in the garbage. |#3... There was not much to do around the hotel. The little town nearby was mostly loud bars and restaurants. We ended up spending a lot of money on Ubers to find things for our young child to do. We really enjoyed the Ft. Lauderdale Children's Science Museum of Discovery.

Everything was clean!! Location was fabulous!! Very comfortable!!! Everyone was so accommodating. Walking distance to restaurants in the town center. I will definitely be back and next time it will be for more than 2 nights.
