Tide Winds Motel - Motel in Wildwood - 231 E Davis Ave, USA

We had an amazing room on the second floor. It had beautiful tile floors and a grey and white marble bathroom. The toilet was updated, and the shower was AMAZING!!!! There were super cute light fixtures, and a huge screen television in bedroom area. We LOVE Tide Winds Motel I. WILDWOOD, NJ!!! Connie the owner is so sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful place near the center of Wildwood that is PET FRIENDLY. We loved staying here with our doggie and will come back again. Very close to the beach and convention center. The rooms are very basic but I found them to be clean with a newer bathroom. Only negative we found was the hot water can be limited at times. If you have a pet, book your stay here for no headaches.

Stayed here for a week. Took a cold shower EVERY night. Barely enough water pressure to rinse off. Can't get any wifi on 3rd floor. People partying and smoking weed well after 1am but I guess that's gonna be every hotel in NJ. The room maid was very nice though and made sure we had toiletries and towels every morning! Parking is awful! But again, every shore hotel sucks with that. A hot shower would have been nice at least ONE night!

DO NOT BOOK THIS MOTEL UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE IF YOU LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT!||||I belong to a non-profit, philanthropic organization that stayed at this motel during our annual convention in 2023. The rooms were adequate, clearly DIY "updated" and not everyone was comfortable, but it was a great location so we decided to leave a deposit to stay here in 2024 as well. ||||We had an agreement that we would need 15 - 20 rooms on the second floor, including two rooms that could accommodate out youth group (one for boys, one for girls). We gave her a deposit in the amount she asked for. Another chapter of our organization also left a deposit, after we'd made our agreement. We knew we would not fill all the rooms, so we didn't think we'd have a problem. We were wrong.||||When we contacted the owner over the winter, she had reserved only 14 rooms for us, on the ground floor, none of which was large enough to accommodate all of the girls. We would have needed at least 1 additional room since our young people would not all fit in any two of the rooms she reserved for us. When I explained that. she said our adult members could just share rooms since "most of my rooms are suites." ||||None of our needs were actually met, and she absolutely ignored our agreement. I informed the owner that we needed more rooms, and she said nothing, other than to call her back in two weeks. She didn't pick up that call or return my message.||||I contacted her again 6 weeks after our initial call, and she again suggested our adults should just share the rooms that had "suites" so we would only need 14 rooms. When I reminded the owner that would not work, she repeated her position. I also reminded her that we needed rooms on the second floor for young people. Again, she had no response other than that she expected different families to share rooms.||||A month later I notified her that we'd ended up needing 19 rooms and found another motel. I asked her to return our deposit and she REFUSED. I called her several times asking about the deposit, and only once did she say anything other than no. That one time, she said she had to "see if I can rent the rooms." She did rent the rooms, but still DID NOT return our deposit. She also stopped returning my calls.||||Someone needs to explain to this owner that she's in the hospitality industry, not the hostile apathy industry. ||||I am happy to report that the Crystal Sands Motel was more than accommodating - go there if you want a good experience!

Positive: One of the best 3 bedroom efficiency hotels we have ever stayed in. The Hotel was super clean. The Hotel had plenty of space for all 7 of us. Great Job to Tide Winds owner & Staff. We will be back again. Pet friendly Hotel was a hit w/our dog Negative: Nothing at all ! Keep up the great work !

Nice place to lay your head and you get a little kitchen area with a stove and a cool looking fridge looks like a straight out of the 50s the room could be a little cleaner and maybe put together a little better being on the construction worker but my eye goes right to stuff like that so I really can’t count it. You can keep your dogs there which is pretty cool and you’re right down the street from that pancake place uncle something all I know is a pretty cool place. It’s pretty quiet good place for kids, they have a pool hall and stuff.

Out of all the places we have stayed in wildwood, Tidewinds has been our absolute favorite! We have been coming here for 3 years now, as I am writing this I am actually sitting outside our room. Right across from the convention center and boardwalk, the location is super convenient. The service is phenomenal, very sweet friendly and accommodating. The rooms?! Are just everything you could possibly need we got the one with the pull out sofa, 1bedroom- kitchen with a stove, cabinets stocked with the pots pans dishes etc, full fridge, coffee pot toaster etc. Very enjoyable, we love it. pets are also welcome which i think so cool! Thank you Tide Winds for a fabulous stay. Not to mention the price is definitely right!

This motel had a living room/kitchen area with a medium sized refrigerator, 2 burner stove, coffee maker, toaster and microwave. They also provide dishes for cooking and eating. The couch pulled out to a double size bed and a full size table had 4 chairs. The bedroom area had 2 double sized beds and a pull out couch, so our room slept 8 people. The room also had a full bathroom and 2 AC units. There were 2 chairs and a small table on the balcony that overlooked the pool, which was only open from 10-6 each day. It only took us about 10 minutes to walk to the boardwalk which put us at the very beginning of the shops and convention center. Overall, we loved the motel and would stay there again. We checked in on Friday and checked out on Sunday at 10 (as required) and the cost was almost $800.
