I HAD really high expectations for this place. Saw great reviews, lots of people on the beach walking around with a cup of their coffee, fantastic beachfront location, what's not to love? Unfortunately a lot. Visited around 10 AM on a Saturday. Line was moving fairly well. Over half the items in the food display case were unavailable. I kept things simple, just a hot vanilla latte and a TOASTED bagel with cream cheese. Coffee took longer than it should have. They forgot to add vanilla. I continue waiting for the bagel, should be any minute now. After about 10 minutes, I go up and ask where it is. Toasting a bagel shouldn't take too long right. Couple minutes later, a bagel appears, but its for the people 3 spots behind mine. Sheesh. Finally my bagel came out... untoasted. Rather, it had been "heated up" and was soft all around. What a disappointment.
Great coffee shop. Fantastic location for an early morning brew and sunrise. Friendly staff, nice facilities as well. Definitely worth a visit. UrbanCowgill Nov 2023
The location of Tidal coffee is superb. Its a great way to begin your morning; grab a coffee and walk out for some beautiful morning views of the water. Got a cold brew and latte macchiato and they were both amazing. Absolutely loved everything about this coffee shop. Can't wait to go back!
Delicious chicken sandwich with great coffees and it’s nearby the beach as well. 👍
Great location, by the water with a nice view. The breakfast is good, though super pricey even for its prime location. Coffee is average. Store was not busy, service was impudent. 5 star for location and opening early (6 AM); 4 star for coffee quality and value-for-money. 3 star for service.
Tidal Coffee in Monterey is a fantastic spot for coffee lovers. Not only do they serve up great lattes, but the views from their location are absolutely breathtaking. Whether you're looking to start your day with a sunrise coffee or take a break from exploring the beautiful Monterey coastline, Tidal Coffee is the perfect place to do so.
Awesome location! Their almond croissant is the best I’ve ever had, a cappuccino along with it goes really well. They also give butter packets on the side for any kind of croissant that you order, which is good. Even though the place is closer to the bay aquarium, their menu items are reasonably priced which is great. I would come here again for the almond croissant.
Super cute coffee shop right on the water in downtown Monterey. Coffee and food was delicious and I’ll be coming back here again!
Amazing vibe and even better lattes. Thoroughly enjoyed the morning air flowing through, surf comp playing on the projector, and great music selection playing. Staff was super friendly as well.

I joined First City Crossfit in September 2023 and could not be happier with the overall experience. I've been to many crossfit gyms around the country and this has been, by far, the best. Frank and the coaches are outstanding! They have such a desir
First time going wine tasting here, and I loved it! They have many options, from doing a 4 flight up to doing an 8 for tasting. What caught my attention was the tubes they brought the wine in! A unique way of serving wine. The spot is very relaxing t

Cute and quaint farmers market in the middle of downtown Monterey. There are so many different vendors with fresh produce, ready to eat food, and so much more. You canât come here without getting an elote in cup and baked potato, two essentials. Th
DIVINE. Croissant was as tasty as though we were in Paris ! Light and fluffy, so buttery! Double latte was perfect, as well as the selection of pastries, quiche and other delicacies.
I took my 9 month old on her first Monterey Bay Aquarium visit, and it was such a success! I walked in with her in the stroller but became quickly grateful that I had also brought the carrier, which we used the rest of the visit. Bringing the strolle
Hands down the greatest sushi in the area. Even after living in Japan for 3 years I have to say I've never had better sushi than Kuma. Although there is a place in Washington D.C. that could give them a run for their money. But everything at Kuma wa
