Live band was awesome!! Super fun andd had an awesome time😊
Great bar. Great band. Just missing that something and can't put my finger on it. Well worth a visit.
Lots of fun here! Crowd cycles thru all evening. Nice staff. Generous drinks. Two pianos and drummer were so much fun!!!
Bourbon Street is not everybody’s thing but Ticklers Bar is one place we really like. The drinks are reasonable and the service is good and friendly. The live entertainment is great and they truly make an effort to get the crowd involved. Mainly classic rock but they take requests on anything. A fun place to party or just sit snd watch.
Truly one of the best experiences we've had in New Orleans! These guys play it all! Bartenders were so good and fast with our drinks and the music was incredible! Highly recommended this place but get there early (before 7p) to get a great seat because it gets packed!
The best piano bar in New Orleans by far, such skillful musicians. We visited many places during our stay but always ended our night there.
I just left. It’s Sunday January 8th, 2024. The bartender lied about drink prices and stole the money. I don’t know if she thought we were drunk or what. I ordered a vodka soda from the female bartender (skinny, pretty, rude) it was $8. Then she went for a break and the manager came behind the bar. I ordered a double vodka soda and he charged me $16. The drink prices are expensive because it’s right on bourbon street so I wasn’t upset. Then I ordered another double from the girl bartender when she came back. I paid with a $20 bill and she gave me back $2. When I asked where the other two dollars were she said a single is $9 and a double is $18. We went back and forth a couple times and I didn’t want to make a scene so I left it. Then her boss came to announce last call and I asked him the drink prices in front of her and it was $16 so the bartender lied and is pocketing tourists money. Watch out for her
We stopped at this bar as we were walking down Bourbon St. We heard the pianist playing and decided to check it out. After 1 drink and a few rounds of music, my mom and I went to the bathroom, which is located outside by a little courtyard. My mom was not feeling well as it was super hot out and sat at a table in the courtyard with her head down. Within less than a minute, the "manager" (Jim or Jon) stromed into the courtyard and kicked us out stating "this place is not for sleeping." I told him she wasn't sleeping and told him we'd leave if he'd allow us a minute to grab our group (which was still inside) and our bags that were inside at the bar. Well, this power-hungry maniac decided to continue yelling at us and threatened us with the cops if we did not leave. He went and grabbed his bouncer, who was actually very sweet and helpful in de-escalating the situation and calming down this "manager" who continued to storm around, screaming at us to leave. The "manager" (who was at least 170-200lbs) physically used his body to push me out of the courtyard, where I had to remind him to keep his distance and not touch me. I am a very petite individual (5'1 and about 100lbs) and this man felt the need to physically remove me from the premises because my mother was sitting in the courtyard with her head in the table...? Sir, maybe remove your tables from the courtyard if you don't want people sitting there. This location was pleasant, but the manager completely ruined the experience. If this is the way he "manages" a business the owners may want to look into hiring a manager who isn't on a power trip, taking his rage out on 2 women sitting in the courtyard.
The best bar in new Orleans if you want to meet the locals. No frills, good beer, great company. Little place that's been running for 4 generations. Just pop in and chat
Was lucky to attend a pre-wedding party here. The atmosphere was awesome, with Halloween theme in the courtyard. The bartenders were fabulous, made a perfect Seabreeze.
Our waitress, Casey I believe her name was, was wonderful. Quick yo refill drinks, super friendly and professional. The atmosphere was awesome. Looks like an old bathhouse of some sort. Lots of comfortable chairs and nooks, gaming tables, decent cig
We came with our kids Thanksgiving evening for drinks/appetizer and live music. It is gorgeous inside. Even the 12 and 16yo were impressed. It made for a special evening. Fries were delicious and generous serving to share. It's pricey but that is to
what a fun dive bar this place is! i loved all the saturn-related jokes and decor around the place as well. we were here during a live piano performance and had a grand time soaking in the musical experience while sipping on our beers and ciders.
We were a little over bourbon street and wanted a chill bar - no frills, just good drinks, a little food to snack on and a vibe. This was the place. Jalapeno cheese curds were fresh and addictive - highly recommend. Our bartender was so chill and do
So Iâm not a fan of malort, but the pumpkin flavor they do for fall is pretty fantastic. Great locals bar with a good dive bar atmosphere and drinks.
Wondering around and found this spot. Very cool place for drinks. Came for happy hour. If you're in town it's worth the trip. Great beer selection and dog friendly.
Go get your fill of some serious local music, get there early for the Tuesday 6 PM show it's the one that will least likely have a line if you get there 15 minutes early. $20 gets you in, cash or card. Its mostly stand only with perhaps a dozen chair
