Very very large area, great for playing fetch with dogs or flying kites, or playing with R/C devices. Any activity where you need a lot of wide open space, this is the perfect place. The large canal that runs through Phoenix is along the border of one side of the area, and I guess you can fish it if you wanted to? I did see a few people casting in. I was there just looking for a place to ride my electric scooter. It's okay 4 out of 5 stars. I would prefer to ride pavement and it was a dirt path, some of it a bit sketchy on the scooter. I found the scooter being pulled around a little bit on the unever terrain. A below average rider on a scooter or bicycle might find trouble here. Also I was on one side of the canal and the park was on the other side . I wanted to be in the park side but had to travel way way down to a main road crossing to get to the other side. I would have liked to find a bridge or something to get over a bit sooner. Otherwise it's a nice quiet area with wide open space for activities.
This park is very unkept. While parks in wealthy neighborhoods are nicely kept, other neighborhoods lack the attention. Lots of trash, cut trees, dog poop, etc.
Beautiful and peaceful park with plenty of parking and a clean restroom, you can go for miles in either direction.
Beautiful place. Clean. Lots of trails. Can ride bikes, play disk golf, basketball, small playground and grass. Walked along the canal. Saw ducks and horses on farms. Beautiful sunrise. I will be back.
Beautiful park during the winter into spring. Once there is moisture though beware of the reeds and the mosquitoes here. Disc golf fans especially since you will have to walk through the all the foliage.
Nice park with lots of green space. Bathrooms are old but well-maintained.
I love this park! I run here at least 3xs a week. Only thing there are some shady roamers but they dont bother you. Cant help but feel a bit uneasy. Never had any issues though.
It's a cool little park. Has a nice grass field, a nice array of trees line the canal border. Very well lit. Apparently it has some sort of reputation for men but I don't subscribe to those trains of thought so it don't bother me. Had a run in with a couple park rangers and they were very nice and respectable. So, a good park in my opinion.

Great park first the kiddos, especially if you bring their bikes or scooters. I have to admit, for an inner city-ish park, it is well kept. Parents, just a cautionary word, there are a few transients around, but nothing majo

Located in the historic district of Glendale with several quaint, cozy, and private tea rooms. The owner and hostesses were all so, so accommodating. Anything we inquired about or requested was granted. We were a group of 7 ladies and 1 child celebra
Great coffee cafe. The atmosphere is charming...dark inside with cute arm-lamps attached to the walls. Great ambiance. The coffee was very tasty and the large selection of pastries ruined my diet ha ha. The atmosphere was serene and comforting. Defin
