We had the BEST long weekend at Three Bears Lodge! ||PERFECT location right in the heart of Red River: walk to ski lift, shopping, dining.||The 2 bedroom cabin was the perfect size for my family of 5. Clean and updated, yet maintains the rustic history of Red River. Wood for the fireplace is complementary and made it super cozy at night. ||The hosts are worth a visit, alone! Nick and Jenny went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. No where else have I been that hosts a nightly Happy Hour including smores, beer and wine! Being locals, they gave us the best recommendations on food, skiing, and activities! We even got a visit from the local deer that came to say hello!||We are already planning our next visit!
Love the family oriented atmosphere. Quiet cabins even tho they're in the middle of town. Love that this a family owned establishment. Amazing people. The memories we will always have at this place are truly priceless! Love the ski in/ski out option too.
This is by far the Best place to stay in the area hands down. The cabins are situated very close to the lifts and are very spacious. You can park your car right next to your cabin door as well. The owners Jenny and Nick were very friendly and helped us out during our stay.
My partner and I wanted to spend our xmas vacation in Red River. We had booked an efficiency cabin at Three Bears Lodge for three nights. Upon our arrival on xmas eve we were told that our reservation had not been documented and our cabin wasn't available. Right as I began to scramble to find other accommodations on xmas eve, Jenny assured us that there wasn't problem. In addition to upgrading us to a much larger cabin for two nights, she refunded our payment for the previous reservation AND found us accommodations for our last night in RR. Yes, the cabins were clean and functioned perfectly. Yes, the location was ideal and within walking distance to restaurants and other locations. But the service Jenny and Nick provided right in the face of possible disaster was fantastic. They went above and beyond when it came to making up for mistake that anyone could have made. If you need clean accommodations in RR look no further than Three Bears Lodge. We already plan to make many return trips there in the future.
If you are looking for a luxurious, high-raised, condo, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for the authentic mountain lodge experience, I would highly recommend The Three Bears Lodge in Red River, NM. It is in the middle of town. Close to restaurants, shops, and rental companies. It is less than a block away from the river and the ski chair lift.||The rooms are basic, but comfortable. I was in a two bedroom unit, like the one picture in TripAdvisor. The living room is one of the large windows by the front door and the kitchen is by the window on the other side of the front door. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the back side of the cabin. The bedrooms and bathroom are small, but functional. I think all of the two bedroom units have a small wood burning stove for winter nights.
This was an awesome little cabin. We got the 3 bedroom. It does need a little updating, but it's beautiful! It was a little awkward because the only door to the cabin leads into one of the bedrooms. And it is right in the middle of main street with all the awesome gift shops. And only a block away from the winter ski lift. And about 6 blocks from the summer ski lift. It is an absolutely beautiful place to visit!
We stayed at 3Bears Lodge for a week the first week of August. Booking the stay was easy and all my questions were answered promptly. Our stay was one the best trips we have taken and 3Bears was a big part of the reason. Nick (Papa Bear) and Jenny (Mama Bear) are the best hosts and their cabins are great. We stayed in one of their 1 bedroom cabins. Cozy and clean and decorated perfectly. The updated bathroom was great. The hanging flower pots and humming bird feeders were beautiful. Love the hummingbirds!! We enjoyed visiting with the owners. A great young couple who made the visit that much better. The nightly fire pit with s’mores is a highlight for everyone. The lodge is centrally located and an easy walk to anywhere in town. 3 Bears is the best bang for the buck in Red River. We will be staying at 3 Bears every year when we come to Red River. Added bonus, the weather is perfect all summer long!!
Awesome place to stay. Owners were great! We came in and stayed several days on a fishing trip with Kevin in Oct. IYKYK Rooms are clean and cozy.

We used to go to Tall Pine every summer when our son was young. We'd rent a cabin (Wild Rose usually) and we'd stay for a week and hike/fish the area. It was always a wonderful time, and we were sad that life took us away from the place for a number
Ate here on our first night and another night later in the week. Was not disappointed either time. The food was delicious and prepared quickly. The person that took our order was friendly and courteous. There is inside and outside dining. We used bot
