We rented a pontoon to take out on Forest Lake at Thousand Hills State Park. The pontoon was in great condition. We had no issues with it! Beautiful lake with floating docks to tie off & have a swim or a bite to eat. The concession person was very friendly but a bit inexperienced with the computer. The price to rent was a bit pricey but worth it in the long run. Overall a good experience!
Cabin was cozy, no bugs present and the bathrooms were clean and had plenty of toilet paper. lots of opportunities for birdwatching and water activities such as kayaking. Renting equipment was easy and prices were affordable. definitely plan to return in the summer!

Under new management but cabins aren't bad odd numbers have the kitchen even numbers have just a TV and no fridge would be better with dorm fridge and a microwave also outlets need upgraded couldn't plug my phone in because outlets are sunk in to far they won't stay plugged in
Lovely shelter will large charcoal grill and lots of tables. Beach is also very nice.
I want to give it 1 star so nobody discovers this hidden gem 🙂 So peaceful and beautiful! Please go to the restaurant and enjoy their amazing food and servers as well. Wonderful cabins, clean grounds, and so quiet. I would like to have a little bit larger bed and updated bathroom but the price is well worth the amenities!

Went with the family for the weekend. These little cabins are great. We had a large group and rented 6 rooms. The way the rooms are attached and open into a joining kitchen was perfect.

Gyro is the best I have had anywhere. Wife had a chicken sandwich thing, she liked it. Both of us had fries. We also had the baklava. That was just okay. I come here every time I am in Kirksville.
Fun local spot in Kirksville. Friendly staff, nice environment. We tried the Island Fries - wonderful! Cold drinks of all kinds and a wonderful kids menu too.
The store was clean, brought, easy to navigate, and the staff was very friendly. I went in to get a photo and letter frame and they had it completed very quickly.
My dog's Bobo and Dot Dot love it out there and they love to play with all the dogs and it's so clean and nice out there for them to run around at .. I would recommend it to everyone wanting there dog to have interaction with other dogs
