Walking up to Thou Mayest you already know it’s going to be a vibe. The atmosphere is great. The perfect place to catch a coffee alone, with friends or for business. Then there’s the coffee itself. I went kinda basic, but even on basic drinks you can taste the difference. My latte was made perfectly! I also splurged on one of their cinnamon apple pop tarts which was super good. Trying that cinnamon roll next! Ps. They have a unique cereal bar which is kinda fun so if you’re a cereal lover this is your spot!
The lavender and bee pollen latte was delicious. Their decaf americano was Laos one of the best, very low acidity. The seating area is weird and limited. Lots of people were hoarding their booths, it could’ve fit 4 people but was taken over by 1 person.
I happened to go when there was only one person working so it was fairly slow, but the vibes were wonderful and the whole store is very aesthetic. I had the Harvest Moon latte which was a PSL but not as overly sweet. All in all it was a great experience!
The atmosphere is a perfect blend of curated kitsch with a fishing vibe. I met a designer friend here for coffee ☕️ & scones, and we agreed that Thou Mayest nailed their River Quay aesthetic. The seating vignettes are comfy & semi-private. Some spaces are designated with river rock, others by an indoor wooden "shelter." This is a terrific place to work, gossip & and get your caffeine on. I'm looking forward to coming in the evening when I'm back up the hill in River Market. What? Coffee at night? Plu--ease. They have a fully stocked 🍸 bar, too.
I love this coffee shop. Highly recommend. The coffee is great, there's a good selection of pastries, snacks, and non-coffee beverages. There's a cereal bar and booze(!), and their chai latte is dumb good; best I've ever had. I wish they had a gluten free pastry option or two, but we can't have it all in this world.
I would love to give this place a better rating but every single time I come here they ask me if it's to go or to stay. I tell them for here. Then they give me a to go cup. For me, I order this way for 2 reasons. Primarily is that it's better for the environment. Secondly, it's more enjoyable to drink out of an actual coffee cup. To me, it affects the taste, it's pleasant to see the latte art on top (or even just the way the milk sits on top). All of that is a big part of the experience at a cafe that certainly has invested in it's atmosphere but seems to still neglect some really simple but core components. I think I've been here like 10 times now and only once have they gotten this right. Attached a picture of my sad looking latte. 🤷♀️
We have always loved Thou Mayest and this location is beautiful! We had the immersion brew and the Spirit of KC cocktail. Quite delicious! For anyone needing a drink of nearly any sort this is the spot… plenty of seating and just an all around beautiful spot.
Stopped by for a coffee, and this place has a great vibe! It was very busy, but was in and out quickly. The cashier and barista were so friendly and my latte was wonderful. Next time I’m in the area, I will have to make another stop. Thanks!

Fast Service and friendly staff. The space is on the smaller side with a bright interior design/paint that allows the space to feel rather large. With booth like seating there is plenty of space to lounge to talk or table to work on a laptop. Addit
Wow! Truffled Eggs Benedict blew me away. My first taste and I could smell and taste the truffles. The peach danish was so fresh. Full Cooper bar. The bake house is in a wonderful old building in downtown KC .
Went for my first time. All I ordered was a cappuccino. It was delicious. Nice little store and easy to find. Great stop for a quick pick-me-up. Store was clean. Albeit I visited at a slow time during the day, service was quick and good. Would visit
An unbelievable crew from start to finish. I have been in Spokes KC more than I care to admit, but constantly it is amazing. Aaron is a gem. The breakfast burritos are incredible and I LOVE the meatloaf melt
First of all we love the name! Two Sugars in Kansas City is such a cute name and coffee shop. We loved our latte and conversation with the owner. Iâll definitely be back to try their matcha!
I donât know how I would have made it through my pregnancy without the classes at Full Circle Yoga KC. My older sister also went to Jenny Hellman for two of her pregnancies and when I told her I was having trouble finding good and affordable prenat
I've dropped into the 11:30am class several times. Fantastic community, coaching, and workouts. Clean showers and bathrooms. Ample equipment and parking. Everyone I met was welcoming and interactive. The community has been together for many years and
