We paid to park even though I can get in with my military ID. It was a very pretty walk out to the point where there is a Pavillion you can rent through Quiet Waters Park. We could not get pictures of the light house from the shore even with my zoom on but you could with a regular camera and a zoom lens. Nice visit.
Nice view of the Bay. You will need to plan ahead for your visit as space and access is limited. Be sure to visit the website to obtain instructions and pass to the park.
Nice place to visit for scenic water and nature views but didn't find too many trails or other options for exploring on my short visit. Bring a camera and lunch for a beautiful rest along the bay. Say hi to Dino for me!
Great experience overall. Port John was scary, so go before you arrive. The light house was reachable via a long range camera lense, but is within eye sight out in the inlet. Secluded, road is unimproved... no corvettes 😀
Took a nice walk with a friend to this place on a weekend afternoon. Quiet, peaceful area. Lots of families spending their afternoon fishing and enjoying the beautiful views.
Nice place to take a walk and see a nice sunset. There are two gates, so I don’t believe this would be a great place to watch a sunset. The opening hours are far past sunset and the gates will keep you from getting in to see the sunrise. There are many potholes on the road in, and it’s only a one-lane road, so definitely drive slow. There are a bunch of deer and many birds that live here, so there’s a strong chance you’ll see wildlife on your trip here. It’s a free park, so that’s also very nice.
The lighthouse is a lot farther from the point than I thought it was, so it was a bit difficult to get a picture worth saving with my phone.
Very nice place if you have sunny weather.
Everyone hyped up Thomas point for fishing. Don’t get me wrong it’s not bad here. But it is pretty hit or miss sometimes. The water is really shallow so when the temperature rises the fish dive further out into the bay, and considering the earliest you can get to the park is 8am, it’s a bummer that you miss the opportunity for the main feeding frenzies that occur here. Also, make sure you bring bug repellent because for some reason the point is like infested with flies. I was genuinely flabbergasted because I had like 6 flies trying to land on my legs while I was wearing shorts. I didn’t even know flies bite you. It was wild.

We really enjoyed our time in the dock area. Beautiful harbor views, clean, with lots to do. Catch a water taxi. Go on a sightseeing cruise around harbor or grab a meal at the many waterfront restaurants. Lots of benches to sit and take it all in. Li
Outstanding place to MTB. Maybe not the best for beginners, but once you get a little fitness and a little skill there's some fantastic flow to be found here. Beautiful sights during the fall as well. Just have to watch out, the leaf cover can get pr

The BEST workout, instructors and facility!! The music is the best - itâs real music you hear on the radio, and the movements are choreographed to the music but simple to learn. Great cardio and strength workouts. Different class formats. High
It's easy to miss this lovely, locally sourced restaurant, but you shouldn't. They have a great selection of food and drink and excellent service. My server, Ella, gave me great guidance, and I wasn't disappointed in a single thing I ordered. It seem

So proud of our beautiful Governor's Mansion. Always a pleasure to be welcomed, I had not been inside since being a Commissioner, on the Governor of Maryland's Commission for Hispanic Affairs (back in the day). Was super happy to catch up with Govern
I LOVE this bookstore. It is so cute and has a great variety of books. The coffee bar made delicious lattes and there was just so much to explore. If I was a local, Iâd come to all their events!
Warm and cozy, I had a decaf cappuccino. Not enough seats indoors for the five of us so we sat outside and discovered their most amazing secret garden. I look forward to returning on a warm sunny day to sip coffee and read a book there.
Staff and servers were great. Nice quiet booth in the back. Perfect dinner for two. All of the food was delicious. Ribeye Steak with crab meat was so good and cooked perfectly. All of the sides, even ordered at half sizes were more than enough.
We saw White Christmas - not an exact duplicate of the movie, which was a nice surprise. The acting and singing were on point and entertaining. The bar had many options. The theater was a bit chilly but it was a fun night!
One of my favorite restaurants in the world and no doubt that itâs the BEST in Annapolis or all of Maryland. Holds its own against spots in NYC or Chicago. So intimate, unique each time but with staples that you can count on (get the butterscotch p
