Thirty Six Saloon - Bar & grill in Rockville - 108 E Ohio St, USA

Definately worth a stop for the food alone if you like that down home backyard cookout style of dining. The decor is a lot to look at, think old style saloon and dad's hunting trophy den. We sat inside the restaurant portion for a Saturday late lunch. Appetizers and entrees were quick to arrive. There was a heavy presence of bikers that were gathered out in the outdoor bar area with live music and you can tell that this is a regular watering hole for them. Overall a very pleasant stop and we would go there again next time we are in the area.

*Small portions--otherwise 5 stars* Fun atmosphere. Lots of mounted animals, and done artistically. The food was good, but not amazing. Kids' meals are small. Food portions are light, so make sure to order enough.

We've lived up here in Mansfield since 2014. We have been to 36 a few times, but this year was the first time we had eaten at The Hog Pit. We enjoyed the service, food, and entertainment. We enjoyed it so much we went several times this year. We will definitely be going back next season.

We decided to go to Thirty Six Saloon because it was suggested by a family member, and we were in town for the weekend from Indpls.. So we went on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was like a saloon, but a saloon in 2023. Our waitress Erica was very kind and very nice. A different wairess brought our food out and when she sat down the last meal, which was my daughters nachos, Erica came up to the table and noticed before anyone else that there were jalapeños on the nachos and there was not supposed to be. I was impressed. She chatted with us and made us feel at home. It was hard to hear when we were talking amongst each other and to Erica due to the noise, but I guess that is to be expected. The over 21 area outside has a live band on the weekends at various times. It was apparent the folks traveling to and from the outside were having the time of their lives. The food was pretty good. We had fried mushrooms, steaks, baked potatoes, toast, salads, and obviously the nachos. Good proportions. We were all full. Steaks were seasoned well and cooked as we had asked. Half of the nachos came home due to the amount that was on the plate. The mud slide I had was like having a chocolate coffee milkshake. Delicious! I totally understood when Erica told us she loved them and could drink one every day. Me too! The strawberry milkshake was amazing! I only tried a little of it but could definitely have had my own. I would recommend eating here as I am sure we will return.

We came here after a long hike in Turkey Run State Park. We were pretty exhausted and hungry. As we wanted to seat inside had to wait in line to be seated, but it only took 5 minutes or so. This place was very crowded, but it was a good sign for us. Popular means tasty. 🤤 Food was delicious. I had chicken with bacon and baked potato. I was so glad that I chose this dish, it was a foodgasmic experience.

Such a cool bar restaurant! We spent the day at Indiana State Sanatorium and had to get something to eat afterwards. One of our friends that was with us had been here before and highly recommended it. I can see why! Great food, reasonably priced, friendly staff, fun atmosphere. I had the bratwurst smothered in pulled pork and fries. Pleasantly surprised at the size of the brat. Would definitely stop here again when in town

Awesome place to get a drink and a bite to eat. Band was playing on a Saturday night, sounded great. A lil chilly but the Jameson kept me warm. All in all if you've never been. This place is a must. Try the spicy garlic wings.. And the Hog Slop Chips with brisket.

Superbe endroit, on adore !!! Le style du Thirty Six Saloon est juste magnifique, bravo pour la décoration, clear vraiment réussi. La terrasse est génial lors des chaudes soirées d’été. Le personnel est vraiment agréable. Les prix sont très doux. La nourriture est très bonne. La musicien du jour était parfait. Nous avons passé un super moment dans cet établissement! C’est certain on reviendra…
