The service was good, the guacamole burger was amazing and the wings were huge.. The guacamole burger was big and bursting with flavor. You will need a lot of napkins while eating this behemoth. It’s messy, but amazing. The wings were humongous and were good. I wish they were a little sloppier, but they were full of flavor, and did I mention they were gigantic? The service was good. It was a little slow getting the food, but it was lunchtime and they only had one server and she done an amazing job.
This place is a man cool! So many TVs with a variety of sports / entertainment. Waitresses and bartenders were polite and the food is delicious! I can’t wait to go back when the added sports room opens. You can place all your bets in this place on a napkin. There is a cool bowling alley attached to the restaurant also. All of this is less than 10 minutes from Cedar Point amusement park and Sports Force Park.
Fun bar/grill with off-track horse betting on one side and bar/grill on the other. One of the few places to get a meal after 9pm that is not fast food. Booths and high-top seating available. Menu is a typical pub fair with Frickers wings and sauced. It's not terrible, but not great . Ordered steak salad , philly + 2 kids meals with a tea and lemonade and two waters . Bill was $68
This is a Cedar Point tradition for us. Thirsty Pony is always our dinner spot when we need a break from the crowds of the park. Don’t wait too late though, the crowds show up here on the weekends. Food is always delicious and quick.
Grabbed late lunch there today and it was super delicious! We made it during happy hour & it was a Perfect meal to satisfy the adults & the kid!! Even more excited to experience it for the first time and grab everything on happy hour 🥳
GET THE CHICKEN WINGS & PRETZEL! The dry rub was the best options as the honey garlic wings were so greasy they were un edible. The pretzel was really soft on the instead and had a good crust - the cheese needed to either be heated up more or just stirred before serving. We ordered the pretzel and wings together and they came out super quick - a lot of business for a Tuesday night and the wait staff running around to accommodate. Very confused as an out of towner coming here but the hostess was on her phone - not knowing- that she was entering guests information for seating and the wait staff take orders on a POS system.
The wings are nasty. They’re like boneless wings with bones. Aka chicken nuggets with bones. I’m s sad. They have great sauce, but why, why are you breading your wings??? If I wanted chicken fingers I’d get chicken fingers. But no one wants a bone in a chicken finger. Nasty pile of deep fried saucy breading. Very disappointing. We waited so long for our check, I went up and asked the host for our check. He disappeared and about 5 minutes later our waitress came and asked us if we wanted boxes. Still no check.
Went here for dinner and should’ve left after the first red flag but was tired, hungry and didn’t feel like searching for another option after I ordered my drinks. Got the menus and they felt very dirty and our table was also dirty when we were seated and all they did was wipe the crumbs onto the floor with their hands and asked what we wanted for drinks. The prices were absolutely atrocious. $24 for a large cheese pizza and $15 for a subpar burger which also wasn’t cooked to the medium rare I asked for. Meal comes with coleslaw and chips and when the waitress took my order asked if I’d like chips, tots, fries or waffle fries and failed to state is was an extra $2 which I found out when I got the check. I ordered tots and was served fries, told the waitress and it took almost 10 minutes for the tots to get brought out. The menu never started my burger was served on a pretzel bun either and had I known that I would’ve asked for a regular bun since I don’t like pretzel buns. The cup my wife got served with was dirty. I would not recommend coming here unless you want to spend a lot of money for blah food.
