Our family stayed in the Couloir cabin for a few days after Christmas and really enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of room for four adults and two dogs. Even plenty of closet space to store all our stuff. The private hot tub was great. The decor is a mixture of modern and rustic. We had plenty of everything we could possibly need, especially towels. If for some reason you need more of something, you can visit a central supply and grab something, including games. The grounds are beautiful, and I recommend a walk along the river. We did hear the road, but it didn’t disturb our sleep with the windows closed. The location is great. It is outside the town so you feel like you are in nature, but less than 10 minutes to downtown. There is a small “yard” area out the back for the dogs to use which is shared with the other half of the cabin. For that reason, it’s not completely private. You can see into the hot tubs and kitchens from there, but it doesn’t actually feel invasive. We never saw our neighbors out there.

If you're ever looking for somewhere to stay for a lovely weekend or a few nights, this place is perfect for it. We had such a lovely time in one of their cute cabins. Amazing services and amenities and very kind staff. Also conveniently close to the town. We will definitely be back!

We went down for a girls' weekend and had a wonderful time. The on-site hosts Bethany and Steve were so welcoming, kind, and quick to answer questions we had. The cabin was cozy and we loved the jacuzzi. The kitchen had everything we needed to make mulled wine, open a bottle, etc. Having all the basics was helpful. We ended up doing the Mills Lake hike. Bethany recommended micro-spikes and the mountain shop, both were super helpful! We will be back!

My sister and I stayed in the Blue Spruce room at Dripping Springs to celebrate her birthday. The property is beautiful, right on the river, and the hosts were incredible. They even wrote my sister a birthday card and gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate! The room itself is one of the cheapest options at the property, but it had everything we needed. We loved using the private hot tub on the balcony after a long day of hiking! The bathroom and shower are small, but the water was hot and the water pressure was good. The room also included a large fridge, a microwave, some dishes and silverware, a grill, and a coffee maker. Initially we were worried about noise from our neighbors, because the Blue Spruce room is part of the Forest Suites, so we had rooms on both sides of us. But we didn't hear any noise from the other rooms during our stay, and the hosts provided a sound machine just in case we needed it. There is also a common area at the property with maps, free snacks, fans, condiments, and a bunch of other random items for guests to use. The property also includes communal fire pits with plenty of seating and easy access to the river. Estes Park is just a few minutes away, and we had no problem driving to/from Dripping Springs after dark, even though we are from Minnesota and aren't used to the mountain roads. We definitely plan to return and stay again!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at here and both times were wonderful. It’s got everything you need. The first time I stayed in the trail ridge cabin with two of my girl friends and the second time I stayed in the marmot mini cabin with my husband and we had such a relaxing time. The property is gorgeous and has enough pockets of privacy that you can easily feel like you’re the only ones out there. You feel like you’re a million miles away but it’s still has really easy access to town. I love this place and plan to bring all my out of state friends here to get a taste of Colorado.

Dripping Springs is now part of the 'Field Guide' collection of airbnb type accomodations. We liked the room just fine, we rented out the Lodgepole suite which I do recommend as it was on the end of the suites, with the firepit right next to it and a hot tub with a river view. It was nicely decorated and cozy, and the hot tub was super nice to soak in after a long day of hiking. There were a ton of pillows on the bed so it was very comfy and the bedding was nice. I also thought the rations room was a great touch - there were some snacks, lots of goodies for your dogs, hiking guides, board games, etc. ||The walls are thin and the decks are set close together so we honestly could hear every word our neighbors spoke (and I'm sure they did us). It's also pet friendly so we heard some dogs barking as well. So it's not the absolute best regarding privacy. Our room was clean but you are expected to strip the whole bed and take out the trash. My husband was very annoyed because upon checking out, he discovered that there was a broken prong in the outlet by his side of the bed which was a fire and safety risk. It definitely seems like a place where you're kind of left on your own - we didn't see a host or any staff the two days we were there. Which really was fine with us but I would just be aware in case you're expecting a ton of amentities or help. The shower is also very small but it was mentioned in the listing so it also wasn't really a bother. Wifi worked fine but I had close to zero cell service. ||Overall, it was cute and we enjoyed our stay. We were in the park the majority of the time so we didn't spend a ton of time in our room. It's 10 minutes from downtown Estes and it took around 20 minutes to get to the park entrances. It was a good value for the money, especially with a hot tub room.

We stayed at the bear paw cabin for one night. I wish we could live there forever. Our cabin was at the edge of the property near the river. We had a private hot tub which was crystal clear and already warmed up. The furniture was cute and all matched in each room. The beds were a bit firm for our liking. The bathtub was claw foot and the bathroom was clean. Might be hard for anyone who is lacking in mobility to get in and out of the tub or down onto the low bed. Super adorable though and it’s even better because they allow dogs!!! Will be back in the summer so I can swim in the river.

We had an amazing time in the Ptarmigan Tiny Home at Dripping Springs Inn. The area was quiet, nestled in the woods and right next to the Big Thompson River. There was so much privacy and we had a perfect view of looking out at the river. It was so peaceful. My husband is big on fishing and loved that he only was a few steps away from the river. He immediately bought a fishing license for the week. Everyday, he would be out there fishing the river. The Tiny Home was very clean and personalized just for us. I love the style and how the home had everything we needed. On the table, the hosts arranged a bottle of wine with a sweet card congratulating us on our first year wedding anniversary. The staff was super quick to answer any questions we had via email and made our stay feel right at home. We had a lovely trip and will definitely be planning another trip to the Rockies.
