We picked up takeout from here when we stopped for the night on a long road trip. We were caught off guard when they told us it was a 30 minute wait for take out, (we are used to this kind of take out being delivered pretty much before you are off the phone when you call ahead) but it was worth the wait.
The Lemon chicken was battered and not breaded, and they gave a lot of the lemon sauce on the side.
The mongolian beef was a bit on the sweet side, and we also ordered chicken fried rice which came with bean sprouts (we had never seen that before).
Overall the food was good, worth the wait and had large portions. We also had no reactions allergy-wise (Shellfish) which is always great.
This is a Rare surprise to find very Tasty Chinese food as well as Sushi in a small town out in the middle of the Desert!! You have to try it out!! Highly recommend this 👌!!
The sushi was still amazing. Tried new ones today. I loved their tornado premium roll so much, the taste was well balanced. I highly recommend this place.
Where to begin; we decided to an impromptu celebration of the missus new job and she craved sushi. However with the weather being what it is she didnt want to travel far so we elected for the local choice. Now, I dont eat sushi so i can only give what her side of it is as best i can, but lets do this in order.
We arrived before dinner rush as our norm, plenty of staff and seated instantly, unfortunately thats where the staff side ended. During the course of the visit, or waitress rarely made eye contact, didnt smile and seemed more intereated in what was going on around her than the table she was at.
For appetizers, i love me some potstickers. They arrived hot... i mean hot hot... i had to cut them open to vent them to be able to eat them. Thats not a complaint, just a heads up. The filling was flavorful, and the outer shell fried nicely, my only complaint was that outer shell was very thick. The outside was crispy but the inside of the shell was a bit chewy for my liking. The missus had edamame, however they were a little overcooked so she wasnt a fan. Part of the wifes meal was something called Chinese Nachos, some sort of crab topped deep fried seaweed... I think... Our waitress couldnt tell us what it was (another reason the staff disappointed) but speaking straight, it was delicious. I dont know what it was, but it was packed full of flavor, the crispiness of the fried wafer with the coolness of the crab like toping was an amazing creation. I only with it was more than 6 individual bites.
I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice (My staple for these kinda resturaunts) and the chicken chow mein. Both come as family style dishes, with a big spoon for serving. Honestly each plate probably served 3 helpings so for the price and quantity, its a steal. Quality on the other hand was only so so. The chicken was flavorful but the rice and the chow mein were both overcooked. The veggies in them were fresh but i felt it lacked flavor, like it had been made and reheated. It wasn't bad, it just wasnt very good either.
The missus had one of the sushi boxes (comes with different rolls and runs about 30 bucks, i dont recall the name). There was something off putting about the sushi rice. She described it like a vinegary flavor that over powered the other ingredients (e.g. Fish, avocado, etc). Visually they looked amazing, but she ended up picking the fish off the sushi to enjoy it without the rice.
All in all, the trip wasn't bad. If your looking for average Chinese food, that isnt wallet breaking then the wok isnt a bad choice. If your looking for quality and/or sushi, I would suggest broadening your search to include a bit of travel.
Our experience here sucked from the initial phone call we made to order food. We called to see if they offered any combo specials for takeout, and were met with, "well, have you even looked at our menu? If we did, it would be on there."
We still decided to order food after that unfortunately, and when we did, the same woman begrudgingly asks, "What do you want?"
Fast forward, and $40 later, we are back where we were staying for the weekend, they didn't give me my entire order, and whatever they gave my husband isn't what he ordered, not only that, but they served our food in soup tubs, and it was drenched in sauce, and I love saucy food... So, in conclusion, I definitely recommend you go elsewhere for better food, and MUCH nicer service. Maybe Panda Express...
Great sushi, staff and atmosphere.
I went for sushi with some friends. It was a pretty kickback place. The man making our sushi was awesome, fast and friendly.
I will definitely be going back.
Went back and had curry chicken(level 5 heat), wasn’t as spicy as I expected but good flavor. The waitress for the evening was a new lady so everything took a while but it was still relaxing and enjoyable.
The food came out pretty fast even though the establishment was busy, and everything tasty.
I called four times and each time they put me on hold then hang up. My brother called and they said they couldn't do an order for 10 sushi rolls because they have people who don't want to work, then hungup. Really gone downhill since last year. The level of disappointment is unexplainable. This used to be the best place within 50 miles to get sushi.
I got the Cantonese dinner. I chose the Chinese chicken salad. That was okay but a you might see in the picture, the lettuce is iceberg and not green with a lot of the white rib of the lettuce leaf. Surprisingly, it wasn't too bad.... maybe because of the dressing 🤷🏽♂️. The paper wrapped chicken is horrible, (it's the one that is wrapped in aluminum shaped like a triangle). The crab cheese puff was okay at best. The egg roll was actually half decent. The BBQ fried rice is really horrible because it's super dry and lacks any flavor. The house special chow mein was the best item, it was good and it tasted better when you added some soy sauce. The service wasn't that bad but I didn't dine in so, I don't know the full extent of the service there. I might come back just to get the house special chow mein, but I doubt it.
Have been here twice in the past week since being in Fallon for the first time. The baristas are so nice and helpful! They were patient and gave recommendations when I couldnât figure out what I wanted! We got a blended mocha and a cookie dough lat
Had a great lunch at the Slanted Porch! It was very busy, but they still managed to get us a table right away. I had soup and a hot roast beef sandwich that was absolutely delicious, and the rest of our group's food looked awesome as well. Service w

Easy delicious dinner on a busy Halloween evening! Had a bit of a wait, but it was just a busy time. The staff worked hard to get all their orders out as fast as they could.
We came here for lunch and it was delicious. My husband got the combo plate with the taco, enchilada, and tamale. He loved it, especially the tamale. I got the gallos chicken burrito and it was amazing. The service was also great.
This is one of the best places Iâve ever gone to, was so unexpected and delightful. Every single dish was so good, it was sad we had to stop eating but we were stuffed. Prices and portions are very good and just over all blown away at how good this
Wonderful park. I go daily. Such details to friendly and thoughtful activities for the community. They just added a splash pad. They are redoing the tennis courts! Always have summer concerts and community events.
What a great gem along HWY50! We traveled across central Nevada and decided to get Mexican. LA Fiesta is a great choice. They have locations all over, but this one is in Fallon. Good street parking. We arrived at noon and were promptly greeted and se
Best burritos Iâve had in Nevada. Iâm originally from California, and their California was WAY BETTER than anything Iâve had in California. The rice reminded me of my Salvadoran Abuelita, and I normally donât eat rice in my burritos! Highly r
Great place to go have a drink and unwind. I had the half order of pulled pork nachos and they were still massive and so delicious! Definitely paired nicely with a Lead Dog Peanut Butter Stout. Wasnât much going on for a Monday night, but that w
