Positive: The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel was clean and smelled fresh daily. Negative: The only thing that we did not like about this hotel was the noises kids. That someone put over top of our room 220. They stomp for 4 hours straight from 10 p.m. til 2 a.m. in the morning. My husband went to the front desk 3 times. It was a guy working.

This is a gem if you want a base to discover Carolina beach. Rooms are newly renovated. Great swimming pool and pond with alligator. Breakfast is included, very basic but clean and the staff is very helpful and basically brings it to you. The only complaint I would have is that the bedding, especially the comforter could have been cleaner. It just didn’t have that crisp clean bedding feeling. It was warm though and the sheets appeared clean so it was not a problem. They have a laundry with all new machines for guests. 5 dollars to wash or dry, including the soap. The only reason I have to give it 4 stars is because the walls are really thin and we could hear our neighbor snoring even over the sound of his tv. I sleep with ear plugs so it didn’t bother me. This is structural and nothing they can do anything about but it could be problematic if you’re traveling with young kids. I would definitely consider staying there again. Staff was super friendly.

This hotel was renovated about four or so years ago, I think. It is very nice and clean. First and second shift staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating. Ashley was a pure hoot! Breakfast Buffet was pretty good. Definitely my family’s go-to when we return to Carolina Beach!

Such a gem! Right near everything in Carolina Beach! So unbelievably clean and had bunk beds for our kids! Ashley greeted us for out later check in and she was so fun and kind. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. Pool was relaxing after a beach day and so we'll maintained. A definite return for us!

I must say that the staff was amazing. We only had one hiccup with room cleaning because I guess the cleaning lady on Saturday thought we were checking out.. but it was the most amazing time. Met some amazing people and I plan on going back in August.. the front desk day and second shift are awesomeness.

My husband and I decided to take an impromptu trip to the beach. There were not many rooms available in the area, but Windstar had our backs!! We didn’t arrive until around 2am and we didn’t expect the amazing service we received that late. Our room was cozy and very clean. Everyone we talked to on our stay was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions!!

I can’t say enough about this hidden gem. We came late and Ashley made us laugh about us calling to find out if our room was safe if we’re really late. Room was lovely . Clean and enough towels and pillows which is not usually the case in other hotels . The staff is awesome. Down home friendly and warm. If you need anything no problem. I just adored Ashley . We stopped to talk to her every evening and she made our day . We recommend this family owned hotel to all who visit the area . Another shout out to Ashley . Girl..You are awesome
