The Windsor Suites - Hotel in Philadelphia - 1700 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy, USA

Our first time here after many visits staying in other Philadelphia hotels.||Thumbs up. It is very close to The Barnes and The Rodin museums. It is very security-conscious…a guard in the lobby and the need to use your room key to enter the building even at 7 pm.||Our room was enormous. It had a king bed, giant closet, and apartment-size kitchen. The coffee K cups supplied, La Colombo Nizza, were great. I would tweak the bathroom a bit to include grab bars and a handheld shower. The supply of towels and the quality of toiletries was also good. It was silent at night: we heard nothing!||The view from the rooftop pool was divine. It closes Labor Day for the season. I would have loved a slightly bigger and slightly warmer pool, but I still enjoyed doing las.||The prices here are attractively reasonable. ||We used Lyft at least once and drivers stopped right in front. Distances are short in Philadelphia so prices were single digit. If you want to walk here from 30 th St. station, you can. Or there is a cab line at the 29th St. side of the station and prices were single digit, too.

I first heard about the Windsor Suites on TikTok. The rooftop pool and its central location was what attracted me to the Windsor Suites. Booking experience online was straight forward. My friends and I were greeted kindly by Nyeesha! She surpassed my expectations with early check-in to our rooms, orienting us to the hotel and giving each of us a complimentary drink pass for Con Murphy’s next door. The room was very spacious with 2 double beds, full kitchen and balcony with a great view. The beds were very comfortable! The staff was responsive when we requested more towels and shampoo/conditioner. We decided not to eat breakfast at the hotel. After check-out, it was very convenient that we were able to leave our bags at the hotel until we were ready to take our train back home.

The people are amazingly nice and accommodating. The rooms are clean and spacious. Our view from the balcony was smashing, as was the view from the roof to pool. We were dropping our daughter for her freshman year and will have four years of philly to enjoy. Parking was a little pricey but we had in and out privileges.

Rooms are more spacious than conventional Hotel rooms|Most employees are pleasant. Nyeesha at front desk went above and beyond to make sure that I have a room with balcony this time which I casually mentioned while checking out in my last visit. She deserve recognition for her willingness to go above and beyond to help the clients! I definitely will be returning!

Nyeesha was amazing. She made The welcome feel like home. I told her I was traveling for my birthdays and she made sure I had everything that I needed. Gia was very pleasant as well. Hope you ladies have a great day! Can’t wait to come back. Thank you again.

The one was nice and clean very amazing view of the city and great location to roam around the city! The pool had plenty of seating a little crowded at times. The restaurant downstairs had great food as well! Not to mention how AMAZING the front desk staff was for check in/out! I was even able to check in early which was very accommodating Big shoutout to Nyeesha very friendly and professional first time in the city and this hotel will be my go to for my next stay! Incredibly unprofessional staff. I had a terrible experience with the staff at this hotel. At 1:45 AM, my husband and I were suddenly woken up by Chanel from the front desk and another guy with her. They acted like we didn’t belong in our room and interrogated us about who we were. It was completely ridiculous! We were in Philadelphia for an event, and I was supposed to speak at 8 AM. Being woken up like that threw off my whole night and added unnecessary stress. Chanel claimed the room was under someone else’s name and accused us of being in the wrong. I told her to check my reservation under my name, but she was unhelpful and rude. It felt like we were being blamed for the hotel’s mistake. We had already paid for the room, parking, and a deposit, yet they acted like we were intruders. The whole situation was handled poorly, and the staff's attitude was unprofessional and discriminatory. I won’t be staying here again or recommending it to anyone.

Highly recommend! Two female senior citizens enjoyed this excellent hotel very much. The King Suite with a kitchenette and walk-in closet is large, comfortable, super clean and quiet. The hotel is very secure, requiring a key card for entry as well as to ride the elevator. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Center City Location couldn't be better. Close to trains, subway, buses, museums, downtown, and excellent eateries (two in the hotel - one Irish and one Asian - both offer great food!) The Suburban train station from/to the airport is only 2 blocks away. The SEPTA subway is only 3 blocks away. Otherwise, my friend and I walked everywhere. Easy peasey, very safe and nothing is very far. So much to see in Philly! I would definitely stay in Windsor Suites again. Excellent hotel at an affordable price.
