The Willows epitomizes “if you know, you know”. Words cannot do it justice and I promised myself I would write a review before our stay ended so I could try to capture how special this place is while still in it. ||The Willows is a lush, intimate inn 4 mins away from Downtown Palm Springs. It’s permanently serene and slightly jasmine scented from the beautiful landscaping. The service is top-notch - thoughtful, available, and never disruptive. By your second day on the property, they remember how you like your coffee. By your second stay, they remember that you love the huevos rancheros for breakfast (thank you, Chef Robbie! You are truly the best!)||If your ideal vacation includes lounging by a quiet (kid-free) pool, leisurely breakfasts served on real china and silver, impeccable service, all within walking distance of downtown Palm Springs restaurants - look no further than the Willows!||We can’t wait to return!

LOVED everything about our stay. We will definitely return. Great beds, clean rooms, wonderful service from the wonderful staff, serene, made us feel as if we were a million miles away from Los Angeles, walking distance to downtown and restaurants we had reservations to. Hated to leave!!!!!

This has to be one of my best finds. I've stayed three times at The Willows and this place alone makes me want to go back to Palm Springs time and again. The location, 400m from the Art Museum, is so central and yet so quiet. The rooms are all comfortable, spacious and of a high standard. The fixed breakfast offering is a sheer delight. The staff are all relaxed and friendly. The grounds are filled with flowers and birdsong. The Willows doesn't have too many rooms so it is always peaceful. In the evening they have complimentary wine and snacks which creates a friendly atmosphere and encourages interaction with other guests. 6 stars!

We visited the Willows in December for 5 nights, 3 couples - myself and my husband and our adult children and their partners. It was such a treat. The Willows is a gorgeous historic structure - a beautiful building with beautiful grounds. We had the Orchid Tree Room, the Cielito Room and the Loft Room, each unique and meticulously appointed. Excellent beds and bedding, delicious breakfast served on china, and a beautiful venue. Gordon, the innkeeper, went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The Willows is perfectly located in Palm Springs. It is quiet and tucked away but within a short walk of many excellent restaurants. As several reviewers have pointed out, it is a historic property and there are many steps and some paths are dimly lit, so just be aware of this before you book. It was not an issue for us. We want to thank Gordon and the staff for making this a very memorable gathering for our family.

The property is so, so beautiful! Loved the little trail behind to Einstein's bench and the views are breathtaking! |The people were very, very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was great! |The night time innkeeper made us a plate of their happy hour snacks because we arrived so late, which she didn't have to do, and it was all delicious! Including the Chardonnay, which I'm a little finicky about. |As an extra, so many shops and restaurants starting about 2 blocks away (but you don't hear any of it from the property!).|Just beautiful all around!

We just spent our 50th anniversary at the Willows. We had spent last year’s anniversary at the Willows, and we enjoyed it so much we wanted to return. The Willows is a bucket list level place to enjoy, having so much history that it’s almost hard to soak it all in. We were in the Rose room, and it was more than worth it. Thanks to Nicole, Grace and Mia for making our stay so great and so much fun.

Perfect place, just behind the art museum, which is walking distance (two blocks) from the main street in Palm Springs. Each room is unique with beautiful antiques. The three course breakfasts were delicious served with white linens and silver service. They also catered to my dietary restrictions. In the evening, they serve California wines with delicious appetizers. The grounds were beautifully maintained. This is a wonderful spot for any special occasion!

We spent two nights at TWI, and here's our assessment. Providing itemized scores for different categories: Value for Money: Overrated; our experience wasn't as positive as others'. We give it 2.5 stars. Service: Inconsistent, depending on the innkeeper's mood—hit or miss. Deserves only 2.5 stars. Functionality: Obsolete tub, shower, and a refrigerator in the bathroom. Wardrobe makes a machine gun sound, and a disruptive smoke detector incident. Efficiency rates 2 stars. Social Skills/Etiquettes: The innkeeper blamed us for a middle-of-the-night smoke detector incident without an apology, earning them 2 stars. The other innkeeper had a condescending attitude. In conclusion, The Willows Inn is not worth the high cost; historical appeal alone won't justify it. We don't recommend it at these prices; it should ideally be priced around $350 per night based on our experience.
