Willowicke Inn was a very cool family experience. The owners, Sooney and Mike, managed, coordinated, and prepared multiple factors that made our family event pure joy. The Willowicke property is gorgeous; stunning gardens, picturesque barns, fields and forest to explore. The Inn was exceedingly comfortable [(e.g., high quality mattresses, large bathrooms (ours had a skylight)], clean (spotless glasses and stemware, unique granite countertops, tidy fridge), well-appointed (e.g., games, movies, books) with pleasing to the eye interior decor which gave the Inn an upscale feel (like “oh, this is a nice place”). We used all 5 guest bedrooms rooms the first night and 4 rooms our second night. The guest half of the large farmhouse feels separate from the proprietors living area, so we had an abundance of privacy, yet Sooney and Mike were readily accessible when we wanted. We hiked the trails, were introduced to the resident llamas & donkeys, swam in the pool, worked out on the indoors pickleball court, soothed muscles in the hot tub, watched the sunset by the bonfire pit, and enjoyed cocktails and tunes on the deck. Sounds great, right? And it was, but those activities were rivaled by Sooney’s culinary skill! Sooney coordinated with our son ahead of time to create a menu for one wildly memorable dinner (fettuccine Alfredo, chicken piccata, roasted root vegetables, caprese garlic bread, cannolis and lemon bars). Plus, two nights, so two breakfasts each offered a wide variety of tastiness. Warning: breakfasts at Willowick Inn are large. Every meal featured fresh foods creatively prepared and delicious. At our advance request, Sooney served a massive charcuterie board poolside. Almost forgot… and arranged for a photographer who worked with us to capture a couple special moments. Our hosts were enthusiastic to offer assistance, available, and pleasant to interact with. You oughta go.

What a beautiful, well maintained little piece of heaven! Sooney is such a sweet and accommodating lady, not to mention a great cook. We had the most amazing breakfasts. The grounds are gorgeous and the fun little cats running around outside are so friendly. Cool Whip was our favorite little guy; always ready to greet you when you come outside. Rooms each have their own cute theme and the beds were very comfortable. So many cute shops and restaurants nearby to enjoy as well! Stop in and stay a couple of days. You won’t regret it, I promise!

This visit was a return trip to the Willowicke for my wife, three daughters and sons-in-law and six grandchildren. The home is just wonderful...from the charming front porch to the kitchen which accommodated all of us comfortably. The farm is a magical place for young children (and adults) with llamas, donkeys, deer, sand hill cranes, and four tame cats. Combine all of this with hosts that really care about their guests and go way beyond the expected to insure a memorable stay. Sooney's breakfasts are delicious and presented graciously. You will be hard pressed to find a better B&B/Inn than the Willowicke! I've stopped looking.

I rented this lovely Bed and Breakfast place for my son's rehearsal dinner and my group of friends stay during the wedding weekend. It was the best decision!||The property is just breathtaking. We are all still craving of those breakfasts.||Sooney was even helping us to do all set ups for the rehearssl dinner, and was giving us very valuable advises. I can't say enaugh how much she helped me with everything to make the rehearsal dinner a huge success. ||All of my friends loved the place. My son, dsughter in law and all the wedding party had a great time. ||We are planning to come back in the future for girls weekend get-a-way. ||This Bed and Breakfast is ideal for any big and small event, romantic weekend, girls trip or any kind of trip. The Willowicke Inn is a lovely old farmhouse set on idyllic property just outside of Lansing. Sooney is the perfect host-- Just the right amount of attentive without being intrusive. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean and well-appointed. The breakfasts were out-of-this-world delicious! ||Whether you're looking to sit and read, wander the paths, pet the alpacas, or make a trip into Lansing, this is the perfect getaway spot! We will definitely visit again when we're in the area!

We rented the whole house in late summer for our multi-family vacation and never wanted to leave! The 4 kids (ages 2-5) had the time of their lives, running around the fields, feeding the llamas and donkeys and splashing in the pool. The adults enjoyed dinners and great conversation on the front porch. As a runner, I really loved exploring the beautifully-manicured trails both in their fields and in the woods...it felt like I was in a nature preserve! Sooney and Mike were so kind. They were always available to offer fun experiences (like hosting a s'mores cookout, feeding the llamas, going out into the fields in their Gator) but were more than respectful of our space and family time. Picking fruit from their pear and apple trees and harvesting vegetables from their garden were highlights. In addition to the property, there were plenty of fun family activities and good food within a short drive. We've already recommended this place to close friends (who have already booked!) and are planning a visit for next year...maybe sooner, if we can't wait that long :)

We had a positively magical farm stay at the Willowicke Inn with Sooney. She was the most amazing hostess and made sure our families and the kids were well taken care of throughout. Awesome kitchenette loaded with more breakfast than we could ever eat. Access to everything she grows in her huge farm plot, and acres on acres to explore. Fresh apples and pears form her trees. Really nice pool and hot tub setup that kept the kids super busy. Giant grill out back to use. The kids had so much fun feeding the donkeys and Llamas too. ||||House is a super cute updated farmhouse. Kitchenette with a toaster oven, small sink, dishwasher, microwave. full size fridge, and access to a hotplate, slow cooker, and electric griddle and waffle maker. Beds were surprisingly comfortable, plenty of comfy linens/towels too. ||||She set up a wonderful bonfire for us and the kids and had a big smores spread for us to share. magical!

My baby shower was at the inn and it was a wonderful experience. The owners were so helpful in the planning of the shower. We had a budget that we needed to stick to and we also had a vision for a menu to stick with our theme. The price per person was a little out of our range but after we expressed this they were able to reduce the price down to a rate we could afford. Very easy to work with and very genuine people! A beautiful place for an event like a shower. I would highly recommend this as a venue to anyone!

Good beers and great food. Friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating. A little remote but worth the drive. Flights and growler fills. Reasonable prices. Cheese curds and pulled pork tater tots are awesome!

Pricey? A wee bit. But I can’t make a decent cup of coffee, latte or drink myself, and I love their goodies. I really love it when there is any sort of coupon too. The store is always clean and the baristas are nice. This is one of my 2 favorit
