My husband and I wanted to branch out and try out a restaurant in Port Washington. What a gem! We enjoyed the atmosphere, the service from the wait staff (Ursula is great) and the food! We started off with small plates, grilled octopus was so tender and mussels in a white wine sauce and shared a Caesar salad. Then we shared a New York strip steak on a bed of potato purée and Brussels sprouts. Dessert was the apple crisp and everything with a lovely white wine. Indeed we came in hungry and left so, so satisfied! Definitely will come again. Enjoy! Note: Reservations a must…cozy place.. we came early so no problem but it fills up fast for Saturday date night!
First time trying this restaurant today for lunch and we really enjoyed the food and the service. Our server was Michael, wow he really was amazing. Very professional and polite, he made sure our waters were constantly filled, was very attentive and had a pleasant and cheerful personality. Thank you Michael for the great service!
Food was very good! I shared a mac and cheese with my mother and for entrees she ordered the grilled chicken breast and I ordered the special stuffed rabbit loin. They both were delicious. This restaurant is highly recommended and hopefully we'll be back soon.
Hidden Neighborhood Gem! The food and service was outstanding and I was happy with the portions and price. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate. The cocktails were excellent and strong. We ordered from the specials menu, butternut squash soup it was perfectly balanced loved the small bacon bits. The steamed mussels are some of best I have ever had, a little spicy and the sauce was great for dipping your bread. For our main course I had pan seared rib eye which was so tender and tasty and my wife had the seared scallops over a bed of lentils and mixed mushrooms which was delicious as well.
It took me a while to come back and review this place but let me tell you what. I came here over the summer with my boyfriend when we took a day trip out to Long Island just to walk around and relax. Our bartender was phenomenal. He was so nice and we had the best conversation with him. He even hooked our phones up to chargers so they weren't completely dead when we got back on the train. There is so much good food here that I don't even know what to recommend. I can't wait to go back again!!
Burger was dry.
Fried fish was bland and soggy.
The lobster bisque would be good if there was actually some lobster in it. $15 and no lobster. Food is over priced.
Came here last night for dinner. Parking was easy (LIRR across the street)
I had two Italian Old Fashioned’s, Wedge Salad, and Skirt steak with their potato’s and Brussel sprouts. The food was excellent as were the drinks.
The service was prompt (not too fast so we didn’t feel rushed).
The restaurant is on the smaller side so I suggest you make reservations, especially on a Saturday night. I highly recommend.
Everything we got was pretty tasty! Staff was so lovely. And the ambience was great. Looking forward to going back!
The clams on the half shell and three seafood dishes we ordered were outstandingly delicious but ye wait was VERY long— a bit over 1 hour— for our food to be served.
We have been with Blue Moon for about 6 years! This dojang is more than just Tae Kwon Do. These masters have helped my kids learn to persevere and face challenges with grace, while also helping to promote sportsmanship, kindness and respect. It has
Great cafe in the heart of port Washington! Lovely staff, delicious desserts and very good coffee.
The manager was very nice. Great atmosphere and decorations. Will definitely be coming back!
I told them in the restaurant but I'll put it here too: this was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to in my life. The cocktails were perfectly balanced and the bartender personally expressed his love for bartending and serving quality drinks
After my favorite ramen spot closed down, I've been on a quest for a worthy successor, and I finally found it in this exceptional ramen shop. Their approach to traditional ramen, infused with a unique flair, sets them apart, offering a memorable and
The most delicious meal I have had any where in the world.
Lunch I just had (plus a lovely beet salad I ate before I thought about taking a photo) all for $29.
Now every time I eat the mediocre fare served in town, I feel ripped off.
