I hate to give them a bad review however when you have inexperienced leasing agents(Asia) working for you then it should be known. I and my wife are moving from Dallas to DC. Went to the Whitney for a walk thru. Not only was the person extremely lacking in detail, and very unsure of her knowledge of the place, she was not at all helpful. She articulated that a unit would come available mid Feb, but because it is being renovated, we were unable to view it. There are no videos, and absolutely no exceptions could be made to peek or view the inside. So her recommendations was for us to wait until it is available mid February. We needed to rent something prior to leaving back to Dallas this week, so we will look elsewhere. Apparently her manager was not available to talk with us, although we requested, so we were stuck with Asia. I get that the DC/Bethesda market is hot, and they may not need my money, however there will come a time when reviews like this hurts your rental capability with leasing agents like Asia.
Great apartment. Great concierge. Great people. Wonderful location. Very good support from management. I love to live here. Everything is in walking distance.
This place is a gem. What initially stood out to me were how high their ratings were and how fond the residents spoke about the management team. I decided to come on a tour and had the privilege of touring with Azha. She was friendly, professional, and provided a lot of great insight into the location and the property. The Whitney's location really can't be beat. It is super close to Bethesda Row, 5 minute walk to The Metro and Trader Joes. Concierge is super friendly, really nice neighbors and just overall a nice community. I feel lucky to now call this place home.
I've lived at the Whitney for about 7 months now, and it has been a great experience. My apartment is solid, well maintained prior to my renting it, and any problems which may arise (few as they are) are addressed quickly. I very much appreciate the responsiveness of management and staff, and I also like how management keeps everybody informed about activities, work, potential disruptions. The parties are fun, too, and a great way to meet neighbors.
Have been living at the Whitney for two years.
Pros: Good location, some of the staff (Jean is a gem).
Cons: everything else. Thin walls through which your hear everything, poor quality of the appliances ( especially the oven which barely heats and the washing machine that damages the cloths), very noisy AC system, flimsy room doors, recurrent false fire alarms, poor quality of the paint (especially in the bathroom where humidity leaves brown streaks on the walls), no evacuation for smells in the kitchen which means you have to open the window wide open, including in the middle of the winter, every time you cook.
When it rains, water often infiltrates into our utility closet, setting off the alarm. Our repeated requests to repair this remained ignored.
We are paying an expensive rent for an apartment with a balcony and a nice view but we cannot leave the windows open for long nor stay long on the balcony because of the very noisy HVAC system of the garage.
Last year, renovation works that were supposed to take three months lasted almost a full year, causing noise and covering our balcony and windows with dust.
three words - over and above. thats what the staff at The Whitney do. From holiday parties, monthly events, to organizing 1000s of packages, the people who work at The Whitney make it a great place to live. Kiera, Azha, Donato, Jeff - they are the best
We moved to the Whitney during a cross-country relocation and home renovation process. Our family has really enjoyed the experience of living here. The staff is professional, very friendly and truly responsive. The apartments and facilities are comfortable and always pleasant. We would recommend the Whitney without hesitation.
I have been living at the Whitney for over 10 years, and I’ll likely stay here for another 10. The staff here, including leasing, management, concierge services, housekeeping, and maintenance, is extraordinary. Every person goes above and beyond to make this place feel like home to each resident. Maintenance here is top-notch. For example, I recently experienced a plumbing problem with my kitchen sink, and Edwin Castano came to my rescue. It was after hours, and despite the fact that he had probably just gotten home after a long day, he turned around and arrived at my apartment in no time with a smile on his face. He was kind, courteous, and made sure to cause as little disruption for me as possible. He even scrubbed my sink and countertops when he was finished. Who does that???? He is a true gem! My thanks to all of you at the Whitney ❤️
I just moved here and so far really love the area and Element 28. First - had a few things happen the first day with parking, but the staff got it fixed really quickly. People also seem really friendly too. I have met a few of the concierge members r

We have used Pita on the Plaza to cater 2 different work events and have been so happy each time. The food is incredible and Norma is such a pleasure to work with. They are so accommodating and helpful. This place is wonderful!
The food was all amazing my wife and I stopped here a couple times while out for our anniversary. It is a small shop tucked back in the corner in a small strip of stores so don't miss it. Once inside the atmosphere is very welcoming and the first tim
Great place to take classes. Friendly environment, fun, and lots to explore as far as classes. Not sure I love the three- four class series method but it makes sense why it needs to be that way. Check them out and viva bachata!!
Decided to try this place out for lunch. It had a five star review and it looked really adorable. I felt it lived up to the hype. The falafel is delicious, veggies are fresh, pita is so good. I like that the falafels are shaped like patties instead o
If youâre considering coming here, do it. The first class is free, so if you donât like it then donât come again, but I canât think of a reason why you wouldnât. Iâm a teen and have been coming since the start of high school, and this is

Love this indoor playground! I especially appreciate them specializing in a place for toddlers. All my three kids absolutely had the best time here. We were there for hours. They were already looking forward to going there again!
It's no frills on the inside but the service is excellent and friendly. Also you know the food is good + cheap because I always see local construction crews here.
No frills, good cheap food, and friendly service. That's my kind of place. Can't reco
