The Wheelhouse - Gastropub in St. Petersburg - 7220 Central Ave, USA

Man we really loved this place. It's for sure a no frills, very unassuming joint. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was though. Loved everything we tried. They made all their own sauces in-house, and they were insanely good. The beer selection was fantastic as well!

I really liked this place. At a first look it may look a bit intimidating but there was a super nice atmosphere, a great selection of foreign and domestic beers, super delicious food and super nice staff. Music was not to loud so you could have a conversation easily without shouting and the staff was always looking out for us whether we were missing anything. You can have a meal and a drink (and a tip for the nice staff :P)for under 20$. So definitely give it a try :)

Nice local gem! We visited this place for dinner and enjoyed our experience overall. The inside décor seemed really unique, designed after a skateboarding theme. The place is fairly small though, so we did have a small wait. Once seated, we were greeted promptly and drunk orders taken. We tried a variety of their foods, including the onion rings and mozzarella sticks to start. They were both good choices. For entrees, we had a few items - the grilled cheese, Wild West mother clucker, and chicken Parma-John. All of the food was delicious and well-prepared. I definitely enjoyed the huge mother clucker the most. The only complaint is that everything was lukewarm. We weren’t surprised by this, as our entrees took an unusually long time to arrive and were probably sitting there for some time. Our waitress, albeit extremely nice and friendly, also seemed new and couldn’t answer a lot of our questions. In general though, those aren’t enough to discourage us from returning. We would definitely recommend this place!

This was our second visit. I love the look of this place inside. It has a Southern California feel. Skateboards On the wall and punk rock music. We both ordered burgers medium rare. They both came out well done. All burgers are $14. If you're gonna order one, get a specialty burger with ham, egg, or whatever. I would put the Burger meat about 6oz isn't Filling enough for me. My bad. I didn't order the chicken wings this time. But let me say it's one of the best in town. Also, if you're looking for a side. The apple coleslaw is amazing. The staff is wonderful.

Was looking for a relaxed place to have dinner with a friend. Could not have found a better place than the Wheelhouse. The food was hot, delicious, and a fair value. The service was exemplary. I felt neither rushed, nor like I would starve before my dinner arrived. I would love to keep this place a secret just for my dinner companions and myself but that would be an injustice to the great execution they have. The warm casual atmosphere just topped off a perfect evening. I will be there again, and again, and again....

My business partner Cody & I, sat at the bar and had lunch.. This place is AWESOME. - The Service is great (salute Carissa behind the bar and running the whole show) - The inside is so cool and comfortable - The food is all homemade and fresh The soup, sandwich, the homemade coleslaw, and the ice cold beer, made this a new favorite local spot. I will def be back here, and will have my friends/clients with me. God Bless!

With a recommendation from friends, we stopped in for a beer and dinner. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food! We tried the Nachos and Drrdy Birdy. Al, our bartender was friendly and attentive! We will be back!

This is really nice place! Excellent customer service and good food. Also, I love the authentic look of the place. Definitely will come again
