This was our second time at The Wharf. My family has enjoyed both visits and I expect to be back in the future. Most tables have a nice view to the water. This time I had a special, it was salmon wrapped in prosciutto with pesto served with a crab cake and asparagus. The salmon was okay, I would not complain about it but not really special either. The crab cake was fantastic, next time that might be my order.
This exceptional restaurant surpassed my expectations in every way. From the warm ambiance to the attentive staff, the experience was delightful. The diverse menu offered a tantalizing array of dishes, each a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients elevated every bite. The chef’s creativity shone through in unique combinations that pleased the palate. The impeccable service added to the overall enjoyment, with staff members knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to every detail. Whether it was a cozy dinner for two or a celebratory gathering, the restaurant effortlessly catered to different occasions. The attention to detail extended to the carefully curated wine list, enhancing the dining experience. Prices were reasonable for the quality offered. In a city filled with dining options, this restaurant stands out for its culinary excellence, inviting ambiance, and stellar service. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable and satisfying dining experience.
ABOUT US: "The original wharf and surrounding buildings date back to the mid-1700s, used for rigging merchant and fishing boats. Shipbuilders would float empty hulls to the wharf to be finished and outfitted for use. In the 1800s, the site became a mercantile center, dealing primarily in coal and cotton.
Later, the wharf was used as an oyster house, where local oyster fishermen would bring their catch for processing and distribution. The Wharf Tavern was established in 1955 and has thrived as a destination for fine food and drink in a seaside atmosphere."
The service was alright. The food was ok. The drinks were good. Prices were high. The view and areas were beautiful.
Wednesday lunch date with Auntie, we chose a sunny table looking out on the water. I ordered the beets and goat cheese salad topped with ahi tuna, she chose the lobster roll which I heard is on special!! I had all I could do to finish my salad, auntie could only eat half of her roll. It was chocked full of big chunks of lobster and you’ve got a choice of cold with mayo or warm with butter.
We ended with coffee and carrot cake.
I took half of the slice home with me.
The wait staff was attentive, kept our drinks full, and offered additional dressings.
Now I’m thinking it’s probably a beautiful sunset spot for an early dinner!
Went for a private party. Set up perfectly. Was like a mini wedding. The food was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Will definitely be going back to enjoy the views of the water and boats, great food, and fun atmosphere. And for adult drinks recommend the spicy watermelon margarita. Such a sweet blend between sweet and spicy. Great place, can't wait to get back there.
This visit was a pleasant surprise!!! The Wharf has been completely renovated and what a perfect spot to visit! The prices were definitely higher than expected but you're definitely paying for the location/view. I enjoyed the strawberry feta salad which grilled chicken and white sangria. Both were delicious!
Newly remodeled with open floor plan, beautiful waterfront bar, and resturant. Beautiful decor and vibe all around. Service was exceptional nothing was missed and the waitstaff went above and beyond accommodating us. Food was so delicious the lobster Mac and cheese was amazing. The calamari was new england style perfect. And my wife's baked stuffed lobster was perfect. Can't say enough good things. Upstairs patio had live music. Not upscale, but I would wear a polo not basketball shorts when dining in.
Fun, modern, happening seaside spot. Indoor/ outdoor dining with lots of comfotable seating. A little pricey for some dishes but food was delicious. Parking lot is free but a little confusing. Definitely a gem in the Summertime.
We just did our granddaughters birthday party here a Dudek's. We had never been before. It was a recommendation from a friend. It was great from start to finish. All the staff was great and everything was well organized. We will be back with the fami
This was a first for us after hearing so many good reviews from friends. Not disappointing at all. We had the shaved rib eye steak sandwiches in a warm torpedo roll with fries. It was excellent. Warm tavern like atmosphere with great service. We wen
This place is a lovely lowkey cafe to go to if youâre looking for a view! Right on the water, can get a cozy drink and warm crepe to enjoy while catching up with a friend. An aspect I like about this place is that itâs open late until 10 pm, not
