My first time in and it was very nice! Heidi greeted me as soon as I walked in! Kristen came over and seated me. Fabian was my server and he was extremely nice ! Everyone I came in contact with was very nice! The restaurant was very clean and organized! Everyone worked together as one! The food was delicious! It was hot, fresh and delicious! 😋 I can't believe it's a culinary school! I had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with fries and peach tea! Nonprofit culinary academy through MGM. This teaching kitchen has great food at a bargain. Menu changes seasonally but there are standard favorites. Cash and cards accepted. Hours are M-F 11am ‐ 2pm. My favorite is the chicken sandwich
We went for the long shot and struck a major hidden gem in the Las Vegas area. Yes its a culinary school but it's sponsored and maintained by MGM resorts the food quality and the cuts of meat were exceptional and the price OMG all this food, 2 drinks and 2 desserts for around $42 the Salmon alone would be that much at some of these MGM properties

I just finished my course here at the academy and westside bistro was so affordable and everything was so good. I mean really good. This most likely the most affordable place in all of Vegas.
Such a great concept! Culinary students get service experience and experience working in the kitchen, while patrons get to try exceptional quality food without the huge mark-up you see from restaurants on the strip.
