The Westin Pasadena - Featured Reviews (2221)
This is a nice hotel! From the moment we walked in, we had a good feeling about it, as the lobby was attractive, peaceful, and well-appointed. Our room was spacious, super-quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was also excellent. ||The fact you could self-park was great, and it was $19 with validation. However, valet parking was I believe just $19, with in and out priveledges. ||We were out and about, so didn't eat in the hotel.||We'd definitely try to stay here if we were in Pasadena again. We hadn't been in a Westin in a while and forgot how nice they are.
The rooms are clean, beds are comfy and for once so are the pillows!!! The valet staff were always so friendly!!! We decided to stay in Pasadena as it was central to other areas we wanted to visit. Price was so good and its location was perfect for us! This area is quiet and safe! And since we stayed here we discovered Glendale which was only 15 min away and such a fun place to visit! Lots of shopping there and fun place to be at night! We went there a few times!
We were much too busy on our vacation to fully enjoy the amenities at this hotel, but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless.
Pros:
1. Beds and pillows were comfortable.
2. Bathrooms were nice. Shower had good pressure and water was hot.
3. Common areas were beautiful!
4. The orchids throughout this place are real!! They are magnificent!
5. Check-in and check-out was super easy.
6. Valet was top-notch. Only had to wait once for a few minutes when we checked out.
Cons:
None noted during our limited duration.
Overall, I would stay here again.
Very pleasant stay at this hotel. Staff was friendly and super helpful/attentive from the front desk to the concierge to the valets. The restaurant had a good bar and a nice outdoor seating area. The location was great for walking to restaurants or around town. There was a small but pleasant pool area as well. Highly recommend if in the area.
Hotel facility was nice and clean. The rooms themselves were a little bit dated. The bathroom has bathtubs with a non-retractable shower head. The towels were not as absorbent as I'd like them to be when I stayed. The service was good.
The courtyard that they have is amazing! Perfect for after work/before dinner drinks.
Overall, will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Pasadena!
I stayed at the Westin in June 2024 for the Nebula Conference. It was a very disappointing hotel experience. When a hotel charges $399 per night for a room that is not even a suite, the room should at least be well-maintained. The Westin Pasadena is overpriced and in dire need of refurbishing. The curtains in my room were torn, the cabinet below the bathroom sink was peeling and stained, and the bathroom's baseboards and area around the shower were stained, warped, and battered. ||I contacted management and complained about the condition of the room. The general manager responded to my message with this apology: "Please allow me to apologize for the condition of the hotel and your guest room. The hotel was last fully renovated in 2017. There was a pause during the pandemic, but discussions are taking place for another renovation in the next 12-18 months. However, I realize this does not change your experience. I realize you may be hesitant to return, however, we would certainly appreciate another opportunity to provide you with the accommodations and customer service that we both expect. Please contact me directly and I will be happy to assist with any arrangements."||I'm glad that I checked out of the Westin early and stayed at a better hotel. I have no intention of ever staying at the Westin Pasadena again. And I will avoid staying at any Westin hotel. There are plenty of other hotels that offer better accommodations and better service.
A great room and location in Pasadena. |All else was poor and a truly weird experience for a higher end Marriott. I have never | in 40 years had a Fairfield Inn or Courtyard or Residence Inn provide such apathetic service. (Better service at McDonalds counter than the Reception desk here). No TV for all four nights. Engineers came every day but no results nor equipment switch out. 95 % of all non valet parking was compact car size spaces; yet valet parking is full sized spaces. Marriott should be ashamed to have this hotel in their portfolio.
I had a wonderful stay here. The room was large(by NYC standards) and clean. There were two queen beds a desk chair and a lounge chair. The bathroom was large and clean. The lobby was huge with a large library that you can retreat to for work or just to get away. I had breakfast at the Vetana restaurant every morning and enjoyed the afternoon happy hour there also. I had dinner there one night. All the meals were above average and the staff was attentive. The hotel is a block away from the city’s beautiful Spanish style City Hall. Old Town Pasadena with its many shops and eateries is only a five minute walk away.
Wonderful service and beautiful property. Elegant, "old money" vibes! I felt so special the entire time and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Everyone was so friendly, especially Josh in PK, Kevin at the front desk, Javier the bellman, Garrett in the Tap R
This hotel was perfect for our Rose Bowl experience!
We stayed in the one bedroom and it was plenty spacious. The couch bed was the worst part of the trip, I'd give it ZERO stars if I could. But I had to sleep there with no other options. If you can,
Had a positively lovely stay here! Rooms are modern and quite comfortable. SUPER comfy pillows! It was quiet, so we got a good night's sleep. Staff are great - SUPER friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Owner/head instructor Justen Hamilton is an incredibly effective teacher and a gem of a human being. What a welcoming environment heâs created here at Modern Martial Arts.
Justen got me ready for most of my MMA fights. The victories were his as we
My first time at Stretch Lab was great. Parking was easy (and validated!) in the underground structure off Fair Oaks. The space is very nice and my stretch with Nita was terrific. She was knowledgeable, professional and gave me a great stretch.
Wow! I randomly found this place and itâs fantastic. Definitely a hidden gem. Loved the asian fish and chips but unfortunately forgot to take a pic! Everything on the menu looked amazing and I will definitely be back to try something new.
