The Westin New Orleans - Hotel in New Orleans - 100 Iberville St, USA

Beautiful, clean, safe hotel, near the convention center. Awesome view of the river, we felt safe, the rooms were clean, the gym is big and has everything! Our only complaint is when we went to the bar they gave us coffee in a paper cup. It sounds petty but the bar and restaurant are nice, so they can definitely use a ceramic.

Dear Management,||I, as well as my parents, are so grateful for your team and their amazing customer service. My parents visited the Westin New Orleans to celebrate their 58th wedding anniversary. I saw this trip as a bit of a big deal because they no longer travel as much as they would like. ||In an attempt to make their stay a special one, I requested to use my upgrade credits if possible for their stay. A very kind and thoughtful V. Hernandez immediately went above and beyond and gave them an upgrade for their stay without my credit. I was so surprised she took it upon herself to generously provide this. I then asked if I could send an amenity platter to add a special touch. She kindly and promptly provided the cc authorization form. ||I was having trouble filling it out on my end so I connected with Roxy, an amazing concierge on your team. She followed up with me prior to their check in to be sure the amenity order would be in prior to their arrival. Can I just tell you how blown away I was when my|Mom sent me a photo of the view from her room and the incredible amenity platter which was also accompanied by a generous and complimentary bottle of champagne and orange juice. My parents are so touched with everything the hotel has done to make their stay such a special one for their anniversary celebration. ||My parents have stayed at this property over the years, going as far back as my time in college there. (I'm in my 50's!) They have always appreciated your location, service at every level, and the nostalgic connection the hotel has for them. ||Your team is so incredibly professional. It is very evident they have been empowered to make decisions within their roles to make guests feel special. I can't tell you how much I appreciate these two ladies and the manager going out of their way. Ms. Hernandez' kindness and proactive generosity with an upgrade, Roxy's attention to detail and thoughtfulness and the Manager who graciously included the unexpected but greatly appreciated bottle of champagne.||I hope you will take time to commend them all for their attention & really caring about their daily contribution to the over all guest experience. They have far exceeded expectations. They each made a small overnight trip a very big deal. We were given room 1716. The finishing in the tub was badly chipped. I thought I was purposely given that room. (We booked through Expedia so seeing someone's else's review about booking through a 3rd party may have some validity.) Plus, I usually put a towel on the tub floor anyway, so I didn't cause a fuss. Then, television stopped working halfway through our stay. I was offered another room but, no one followed up, so we ended up staying in room 1716. I didn't receive any sort of comp, discount or anything for my inconvenience. I am pretty disappointed overall. The best part of this hotel is the location in my opinion.

What an awesome hotel! Service was great, everyone was super hospitable. Rooms were immaculate (super clean which we truly appreciate). Drinks and food were on point (says a lot in New Orleans). My wife and I and our couples' friends had an unbelievable time. Can't wait to go back.

If you book through a 3rd party such as Priceline or Hotwire you will be given a bad room. I arrived around 8pm and asked for a room with no connecting door. I went to the room and there IS a connecting door but they were generous to have ear plugs on the night stand. LOL...i said "nope" and asked for another. Fast forward 6 more rooms, finally I got a room with no connecting door. The "destination fee" is a joke at $30 a night and covers basically nothing. The final room we were given was a handicapped room. I only saved about $20/night, it's sad to know Westin feels they need to treat their 3rd party vendor customers in this way. I knew I was getting the Westin when i put my credit card number in, due to the reviews and location of the hotel. To think, I was really excited to get there. The staff I encountered were friendly and the hotel was a short walk to tourist places. I never want to stay here again.

Had a great view of the Mississippi! Staff was courteous. Rooms were clean and spacious. Very nice lobby. High end stores on first two floors, if you want to shop. The hotel is one of the stops for the Hop On Hop Off bus tour, so that's convenient. You have to take a separate elevator to the hotel lobby (11th floor) than you do to get to your room. Expensive though. $600+ for two weekday nights.

My partner and I enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location is excellent for walking to the riverfront and many restaurants. We were visiting during Mardi Gras and this location in my opinion is in a family friendly area for the parades.

Jinky and the rest of the morning crew at the breakfast place were excellent, the service was really good. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Food was delicious and cooked well, everybody at the hotel was kind. The place is clean, I will visit again.
