The Westin Jackson - Hotel in Jackson - 407 S Congress St, USA

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! I stayed here while on task force and I must say, I have absolutely no complaints about this place! Very clean and presentable. The aesthetic of the lobby makes for a beautiful entrance! The artwork that sits within the halls, the lobby, and the restaurant/bar is incredible! This hotel sits between multiple courthouses and a police precinct, making me feel very safe outside and around the hotel. ||The staff were amazing! I first met Andrea upon check-in, she greeted me with a warm welcome and got me situated in every aspect, along with Sorethina whom too was kind and informative as well. The entire front desk team took very well care of me. Aevisha, Danyel, and Michael greeted me every morning with a “good morning”, a smile, and great energy. Ms. Dean and Olivia were both so very kind and joyful overnight.||Housekeeping was to perfection. They came every single day and accommodated for all of my needs as requested. ||The valet team was awesome. Jalyn and Micah are great at their services, as was the rest of the valet team. Very respectful and composed.||Thank you Westin Jackson for the experience. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the downtown area.

My daughter got me a stay there for my birthday. The best hotel and cleanest. When I walked to my room and smelled how clean the halls were I knew the room were clean which was very true. The bed was comfortable and t.v had great cable. The shower products smell soo good I wish they sold them. I didn’t use the bar but there was a nice bar. I had a deep body message and sat in the steam room. This was the best message and they treated me nice and made sure I was relaxed. I would recommend this hotel for all my Jackson State fans.

I was recently a guest in the spa, located in the Westin. My spa experience was wonderful: Ariel was thoughtful, kind, meticulous in her service. However, the valet service was really disappointing. When I got back in my car, it looked as though the valet had been stepping in mud puddles and wiping their feet on my car mat. If I hadn’t been in a hurry to get home to my baby, I would’ve called a manager to see the mess in person. Wish I’d just parked my own car.

We stay at this hotel whenever we are in Jackson (a couple times a year). It’s the best option in Jackson. Helpful friendly staff, nice amenities and a nice restaurant and bar in the lobby. There are interesting pieces of art and sculpture throughout the property, which is an interesting dimension. |Location is great. We usually get a jr suite and it’s ample space. Sometimes we use the club level - the breakfast there is just ok but nice to have a convenient option.

Great location to stay, rooms were clean and spacious. The main reason we stayed here was because they allowed our Bernese to stay with us despite his size. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful and enjoyed playing with Scout. We would definitely stay here again.

We are just completing a quick stay here while traveling through and we were impressed. The staff was very hospitable and indicative of what the hospitality industry used to be. In particular, Emerald was outstanding and very helpful. ||The lounge had a great breakfast and the room was exceptionally clean. Beds comfy and the hotel itself very well built.

This was a Mother’s Day gift from my daughters. It started amazing with the SPA but ended horribly with the hotel. My daughters purchased a gift card from The Westin’s site. When I checked in they couldn’t use it because only one manager had access to apply gift cards. They wanted to hold the entire amount on my card and I said no. It wasn’t my fault they couldn’t figure out their systems. They resolved at holding $100. Once the night manager got in she called me to say the number on the card wasn’t working. I stopped by the front desk and she said she was still working on it. I was at the bar, instead of asking me to step to the desk, she, in front of everyone, said your gift card says it’s only for the spa, you would need to pay the rest. A bit unsettling as to why this conversation is being had in front of everyone, I just nodded ok. She later said I will have the spa take theirs off the gift card and charge you the rest. ||I woke up to the entire amount being charged to my card and nothing to the gift card. I had plans to finish the day with a pedicure, workout, swim and brunch before checking out. Needless to say none of that happened. I was too frustrated to enjoy THE GIFT that was purchased for me. I called Marriott and they issued me a lousy 2500 points. It cost 70000 points for one night’s stay at this location. They issued 2500!!! My time that started great ended horribly. ||You all should train everyone to do everything. If you trust them to work there trust them to do all of the things. ||I have no plans on staying at another Marriott location unless they make this right.

This place is great; very clean, entire facility is very well maintained and the staff was consistently very nice and attentive; especially the front desk and valet. David was awesome and was able to resolve an issue with room charges. The highlight of the place is some pretty cool art displayed all over the facility. Sharing pictures with you all!
