Had a fantastic meal! Service was wonderful. We had a cheese plate to start, which was filled with jams, cheeses, candied nuts, honeycomb (!), grapes, crackers, apricots, and more. It was very well appointed and tastefully displayed. I had the “Barcelona” cocktail- a gin concoction with fresh juniper berries. So refreshing!
My wife had the salmon. It was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. I had the duck. Cooked to a medium temp, just as requested. It was so good! This was easily one of the best dinners we have had out this year. Highly recommend!
Wonderful meal complemented by excellent service. The West End has the perfect date night atmosphere. I ordered the Baked Brie appetizer which had a sweet fig jam inside. For entrees we got the two specials, Lobster Fra Diavolo and the crusted Ribeye steak. Both were delicious! Will definitely return to try other items on their menu.
I am really so sad to give this negative review, as I’m a local resident n super foodie who is eaten all over the country. but I went there for my anniversary dinner last night and the service was great, the guy was so friendly and sweet. but the food was not good and so not worth the money. I went there in July in although their spicy chicken appetizer was over fried, the rest of the food seemed OK.
Last night we paid $45 for a little beach tower which consisted of way over cooked cocktail shrimp, metal tasting clams, the six oysters on there were good, but it seemed as though that was prepared ahead of time and stuck in the walk-in as it was hard n did not taste fresh. The shrimp Were so hard I couldn’t believe someone would serve cocktail shrimp that overcooked.
Moving onto the calamari, which was super tiny and small, way over salted, and not enough meat to the calamari itself- it was basically all breading. No flavor except salt
Moving on to the entrées, I got the salmon entrée, the the dish I would rate a 5 and my husband got a sirloin. He would also give it a 5 out of 10 the mashed potatoes are OK. I feel like they try to do way too much to make the plate look good and make it look high end, but they are seriously lacking on the quality.
Next time I’m ready to pay $280 for a meal. I certainly won’t go there.
I even considered go in there for Thanksgiving as this is the first year My husband and I are not going to be cooking and for the $65 price of their Buffet you won’t find me anywhere near that place. I feel bad is the place was completely dead on a Friday night and maybe that’s why because it’s overpriced and not good.
I’ve spent 20 years in the cooking industry my husband’s a major foodie with a crazy ability to cook. When we go out, we really saver and enjoy our food and we notice immediately if stuff is not well or just not good and I hate to say that our anniversary dinner was so bad but literally in the middle of eating, I told him I’d have been happier with cheeseburgers and fries. You can’t go wrong with cheeseburgers and fries. Maybe my expectations were high just because of the price tag on the menus.
I want to clarify that the place itself is absolutely adorable inside extremely nice and whoever is picking the music is definitely picking the right stuff. The champagne was absolutely phenomenal.!!!!
Here’s some pictures and once again, everything looked good, but looks don’t make up for a bad taste
My husband and I really enjoyed our visit to the West End restaurant for Sunday Brunch. The atmosphere was chic modern, warm, and inviting. Our server was so kind and pleasant and really made our experience that much more enjoyable. Also, I highly recommend the lemon ricotta pancakes for brunch. 😋
Expensive for what you get. $150 for two meals steak and duck - and one appetizer and one cocktail. Don't mind paying that price but the steak was tough. Not even any rolls or bread served. Very limited menu - not a single special. One waiter who was fantastic. Grill 23 in Boston is the same range and food is always great - plenty of bread - and a sommelier along with a second server to clear the courses. West End looks great decorated for Christmas but it did not live up to the expectations.
I stopped in at the West End immediately before a Melody Tent show for a quick drink and bite to eat. Despite some concerns about the previous restaurant before new management, the second I walked in the door I immediately regretted giving this place a chance. The atmosphere reeks of high class overpriced food and drink and the menu certainly lived up to my concerns. I got a nice draft beer at the bar but when I placed an order for some fries to split with my wife we got a plate with 6 steak fries stacked like a log cabin. While they were tasty, I would have much preferred regular fries.
Our calamari appetizer was one of the worst I’ve had. Chewy and without flavor. I was worried that our dinner would be the same way but was pleasantly surprised! We had the duck and tuna with mashed potatoes to share. The duck was EXCELLENT! As was the tuna. Very poor wine selection for a fine dining restaurant. Mixed drinks were delicious. Atmosphere was a fun speak easy feel with unique elements. I’ll be returning but forgoing the calamari and overpriced poor quality wine.
From creatively delicious cocktails to a scrumptious pasta meal, The West End exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere was festive and warm and our waiter was very attentive. We started off with drinks with friends and continued our evening with a special dinner for two. I have declared The West End as one of my favorite places on the Cape, and as a year-round resident, I get around! I even checked out their function space with the hopes of sharing this gem with all of my friends. If you haven’t been to The West End, what are you waiting for? 10/10 I highly recommend!
I loved the breakfast sandwich, grilled cheese, and the service. All the staff made a genuine effort to learn my name and even remembered it the next day and remembered my ordering preference.
Environment is very positive. Itâs a great place to br
Ok, had the healthy choice omelette with spinach, avocado pepper jack, onions n tomato and comes with side of fresh fruit. Whoever cooks here knows what they are doing. I was concerned avocado would b mush in an omelette but it was perfectly cubed,
When I eat out I want something I canât/donât make at home, something exceptional. That was my experience at Spoon and Seed this morning. I enjoyed the Hash Mash which included so many flavors, each distinct and discernible. My brunch mates, four
Stopped in on a whim as we began walking Main Street. It was awesome! My kids loved all the pinball games and retro arcade games. We ended up staying for lunch! We got burgers (mine was awesome and Iâm picky⦠Iâd go back for the burger), wings
This place is so much fun! It has something for everyone, the arcade is the most fun in my opinion and the laser tag is loads of fun as well! And the food really shocked me by how good it was. It took the meat mania pizza and it was honestly one of t

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Sea Street Inn while celebrating our anniversary last weekend. Itâs a serious gem. As noted in so many reviews, the property is beautifulâ immaculate, tranquil, and full of charm. From the rooms lined
Carryover 4th of July fireworks was great! "Second Summer" has really unique fireworks, good-value switch from just big city big size vibes. Looking forward to coming back for a sunset.
TLDR, looks are deceiving; and this is a hidden gem! We were a little hesitant to come, based on location, but had a Cape Cod Daily Deal that we wanted to use.
Jessica, our server, was FANTASTIC. Sheâs a super hard worker and even though she was r
