This was a great little place on the water. Food was excellent. Our service was a little slow due to the fact that our server was handling people inside and outside but he did a good job otherwise
One of our favorite restaurants in the area. My husband loves their rack of lamb and clam chowder. My daughter and parents love their walleye. My mother-n-law favorite is the spicy crab dip. My favorite is the ahi tuna. The atmosphere is lake life at the finest.
Spontaneous road trip to Michigan led us to this charming lake front bistro. We were greeted with a smile, and "find a seat." As we made our way to the back by the window to take in the view of Lake James, we were happily distracted by the nautical ambiance. We perused the surprisingly high end menu, but reasonable pricing and I settled on the Cuban. It was piled high with a variety of meats and each bite was terrific. My husband is vegan and was able to find a delicious flatbread to enjoy. The toppings could have been more, but the flavor was there. The only miniscule complaint I have or rather suggest, is to move the large trash can that was on the porch imparing our view of the lake. Bravo Waterfront Bistro 👏
Best parts of this place seem to be the drinks and service. Great waiter who was very attentive. Bloody Mary was okay, good consistency but on the sweeter side with a small kick. I ordered the Mahi-Maui fish n’ chips. The fries were good and crispy but the fish were basically sticks and were somewhat rubbery. For the price, definitely not worth it. The batter would have been a lot better if the fish were bigger pieces. The rest of my group liked the food but nothing stood out. Had the crab dip for appetizer which was flavorful and very creamy but the crab was scarce. Given the limited restaurants, not a bad place to eat but I would stick the the more simple options.
We were meeting here as a halfway point for lunch, both parties from out of town. One of our parties got lost in Angola. We had no idea how to help them get there. One of the owners graciously helped give us directions to relay to them and waited outside with us while we watched for them. The food was also delicious and decently priced. If we lived closer, this would be one we'd frequent more often! Very impressed with their hospitality going above and beyond. Thank you!
Excellent food. Chef knows what he is doing. Food absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and very relaxing atmosphere.
Got the fish tacos, couldn't pick them up because the tortillas were so soggy they fell right apart. Brussel sprouts were over cooked. Service and drinks were very good. Restaurant was very clean
It was OK. Location is great and it's fun to sit on the patio and watch the boats go by. Food was OK but by no means a gourmet meal. We were there about 3pm and wanted a sandwich, but apparently at some point they move to "dinner only". Not a huge deal, but didn't need (or want) a big meal since we were still boating. Probably won't be back.
You need to know to pull around and hold onto your order number after you pay, which is different, but not necessarily bad. They fry burgers in butter, so naturally it fits right into the Midwest, and they're pretty damn good.
The food was divine. Service was slow, but they were busy enough that we were seated at the bar, so our waitress was the bartender who was also making everyone's drinks, so it's not her fault. She also made excellent drink suggestions.
Iâve been going to this church for many years now. It is my favorite church to learn and grow in the faith. I appreciate all who make it such a great experience. God is leading this church to proclaim the good news for all!
The best Game Store in Indiana. So happy the started doing Warhammer! The store owner cares a lot about the community which is super refreshing to see.
We originally purchased a bike for our daughter at the local bike shop near our home in Ohio. It was way too big for her, so, we drove 1.5 hours to Angola, IN to get the bike she wanted in her size. Libby was very helpful on the phone, making sure
We took our grandkids to see a movie. The place is clean and the seats are comfortable. The line was fairly long when we went to get tickets and our popcorn and drinks. Their prices are good compared to the bigger theaters.
The staff from check-in to custodial were very friendly, professional & efficient as they all "went the extra mile" to make the stay very comfortable. The room and facilities were nicely laid-out and the cleanliness of the environment was readily not
Our favorite library for all ages. Nice new area for children. With activities set up for them to do. They also have different age children's program's and comfort dogs that come in and visit
Great links at a great price! I enjoy playing here individually and in scrambles. They also have a very nice Pro-Shop; they replaced the grip on my driver the same day!
It's seriously just a room but has awesome sound and lighting. Honestly, it's one of the best local venues to see a show. Security is kind of stringent. Don't think I can keep a gun or knife under my hat, but apparently, in their realm, you can. Mayb
