Had a great stay at The Water Street Inn. Rooms were excellent and self check-in/check out was a breeze. I enjoyed feeling as though we had the house to ourselves. Plenty of parking onsite and the staff we interacted with throughout our stay were very friendly. I thought the snacks, ice, fridge and board games in the common area were a nice touch. The location is directly in-between downtown Portsmouth and Kittery, and is easily walkable during the warmer seasons. A minor suggestion would be to have a microwave onsite, but our short stay exceeded our expectations.
What a wonderful little inn. Located on a very quiet street with a water view, we couldn’t have been more pleased. We stayed in room #7 and it was spacious and clean. Everything was just perfect. We will definitely be staying there again.
My sisters and I stayed in The Barn at Waterstreet Inn and it was a fabulous experience! The Barn is quaint and charming but with all of the space and amenities you could ask for. There is a nice size King room with a kitchen and the two upstairs rooms are spacious and share a sitting room space that we enjoyed. There is also a living room off of the main floor that is quite private and comfortable.|The location is perfect with the easy walk across the bridge into Portsmouth. |The innkeepers at the Inn were amazingly responsive; proactive with great suggestions for travel and local sites; very accommodating. We would highly recommend this Inn and hope to be back!
What a nice place. It was quiet, yet close to Portsmouth and Kittery. The bed was comfy and there was a plethora of pillows of different fluffinesses to choose from. Breakfast was "snacks" but we had plenty to eat. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone staying in the area.
We had the best stay at the The Water Street Inn! It’s the perfect place for a cozy fall trip and couldn’t be any cuter. Just over the bridge from Portsmouth it’s close to the main shops too. We were obsessed with the decor from the lobby, our room & the bathroom too (adorable wallpaper)! Would highly recommend!
Very cute Inn well located. Easy to get in with a key code, you don’t have to worry about grabbing a key card. Clean rooms and perfect additional amenities including coffee/tea/juice/snacks down in the main lobby area. We stay in room 5, third floor. Water views are mostly of the Navel base which isn’t super cute, but I’ll still take a water view over no water view. Porch with rocking chairs was lovely to sit and read. Quick walk over the bridge and into Portsmouth. Nice to leave the car and not worry about finding parking. Would stay here again.
We arrived at the Inn after a grueling overnight trip from Buenos Aires. Check in with a door code was quick and easy. The room was quiet and the comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep. The lounge area is a perfect space to relax with a hot cup of tea, or any other beverage from the large selection of offerings. The Water Street Inn is always our first choice for lodging in the Kittery/Portsmouth area. Highly recommend!
Lovely place in a quiet neighborhood. We were in room 7 and enjoyed the comfortable beds, the amenities, and the common area. Self check in was very easy and appreciated
The was the perfect impromptu stop. Popped in to stretch our legs during a long trip and we're instantly charmed by how well this local attraction was curated. From colonial artifacts to personal accounts in recent history, we were impressed. The kid
Love the food here! It's hard to find a good place for ramen unless your in Boston so when I found out this place was right outside the shipyard where I work I was ecstatic. The broth and noodles are always amazing and there so many good options to c

YES! JUST YES! Freshest, tastiest seafood! Easy and expeditious ordering/return time. We waited less than 10 mins for the goodness we ordered. A little pricey but worth it, I promise. Situated just off the road from the mall. We sat on the bench in f
When Pigs fly is part bakery part bar/restaurant. One door out front leads to the bakery, the other the interior restaurant. There's also a grass island outside (you see it when you drive up) where you can sit. That's where I always sit when weath
Seapoint is a wild beach with no amenities (no lifeguards, bathrooms, etc). Parking is very limited as this is primarily a town beach. Itâs very beautiful however and many people take their dogs here to run.
This is a small cute diner. Their Egg Benedict is amazing. Service is quick and they are reasonable. Not much wait to get a seat. The diner is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and very sweet. Satisfying brunch on a Sunday afternoon. O
Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly and tasted great. We definitely need to go here more often. In addition to great food and great service, it's nice not to have to deal with the downtown Portsmouth weekend congestion. This is becoming one
It's rare that I'd review a fast food or mass-produced ice cream place but I have to say that every time I've been to this DQ I've been shocked at how GOOD the food is! I'm not sure if this is true of all DQ's, but as fast food goes this is so above
