The Washington Private Suites - Indoor lodging in Port Townsend - 825 Washington St, USA

We came to Port Townsend to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is located right in historic downtown with all of the shops and restaurants in walking distance. The hotel had contactless check-in, which is great during these pandemic times (and any time, haha) but the hotel manager made sure we knew that she was available via phone just in case we needed anything like extra towels or restaurant recommendations. The hotel is small and quiet with only 4 suites, and everything was very clean. We stayed in suite 3. ||||The hotel did a great job making us feel welcome with a handwritten card and music playing when we entered the suite and for our anniversary, they left us a bottle of bubbly! There was a nice array of complimentary snacks in the suite, with more snacks, coffee supplies, dishes and cutlery available in the self-serve kitchenette outside the room. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were soft, and the room was decorated with lots of fun details that felt cozy but thoughtfully curated. The TV has built-in Roku streaming, which was nice and pretty easy to set up, plus the wifi was fast! The bathroom had a big walk-in shower and the water pressure was perfect. ||||We have stayed in a few different small hotels in Port Townsend in the past but the Washington Hotel is our new favorite. It felt like a little home away from home for a weekend and we are looking forward to the next time we visit PT and stay here again!

It's the best parts of staying with a friend with the privacy of a hotel setting. The rooms are decorated in a warm, inviting way, with local art adorning the walls. The little snack kitchen is ideal for the late night munchies. And the location is prime, within walking distance of so many cute shops and restaurants. There's absolutely nothing I would change, and will definitely be visiting again.

I can't say enough good things. The location is ideal. The rooms are inviting from the moment you walk in. I loved the contactless check in/check out and door key pads. As a quiet person, being able to check-in without a face to face interaction is kind of perfect. The shared kitchen space was exactly what you need after a day of traveling, when you just need a snack before you put your head on the pillow. I wouldn't change a thing.

My husband and I stayed at The Washington Hotel in Suite 4, which has 2 bedrooms, full bath and a sitting room with a sleeper sofa. The suite was excellent! Very clean, charming decor, thoughtful amenities, and a fantastic location in the center of town. Our room had a refrigerator, coffee maker, wine glasses & opener. In the common hallway is a kitchenette for your use. The room was not air conditioned, it is the Northwest. However, fans were in each room for added comfort. The hotel has only 4 rooms and is very quiet. This boutique hotel is not staffed on the property, but the manager lives in town if you need any service. You enter the building and your room with a private key code which was very convenient - no keys to carry. This hotel is now one of our favorite places to stay in Port Townsend. We loved our stay! When we got there the hotel room was cute, clean, and cozy. Parking on the street right outside was easy. It’s one of the few hotels located downtown, which means you’re in walking distance of literally everything. I appreciated that check-in was contact free (basically an email with entry code). There were so many nice little touches to make us feel welcome. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely be staying here again.

My husband and I stayed in Suite 1 with a friend of mine who drove up to meet us for the Wooden Boat Festival. Suite 1 has 1 bedroom with the other bed in the main room. There is a sitting area with 3 chairs. We were comfortable enough to be in the room and play games the evening it rained. Everything was clean. Marilou was easy to work with. She let my friend come early to surprise me for my birthday.||||The bathroom is large and clean. Only additional item that might be good would be an additional bench in the bathroom to lay clothes on while showering. ||||Parking is a little tight but workable, although not really for large vehicles. Hotel is centrally located to downtown Port Townsend in easy walking distance to the Wooden Boat Festival and the craft fair as well as to shopping and restaurants. We would stay here again.

The hotel was very clean, quiet and low-key. They sent us an email with a front door code and a room code and we just let ourselves in in, which worked out really well for us since we arrived late. Our room (suite 1) was very, very nice. Both beds were very comfortable, there was no street noise and the sitting area was great. Even the coffee was very good. We didn't use the shared kitchenette space, but it looked like it was pretty well set up. Marylou was very friendly and responsive to questions.

Perfect for our trip to check on my dad. Located in the heart of downtown Port Townsend. Easy walk for sight seeing or grabbing a bite to eat. Keyless entry and virtual check-in was very convenient. Room was clean, furnishings well maintained, with cozy feel. Will definitely be our go to place when visiting.
