The W Karaoke Lounge - Karaoke bar in University City - 6655 Delmar Blvd, USA

We arrived 5-10 minutes before our reservation for a birthday party to make sure everything would go smoothly. When we entered, the worker said we couldn’t wait for a couple minutes at the bar until the room was available and said we’d need to wait outside (wind chill well in the negatives). We asked the party that reserved the main area if they’d mind us waiting inside and they were more than happy to let us stay inside. While waiting, we tried ordering drinks and the main bartender made a rude remark about how he wasn’t making us anything and if someone said we could get drinks, then that person can come behind the bar and make them. We get to the room 10-15minutes after our reserved time and the lady who walked us back was very kind and told us that they were going to give us an extra half hour at no cost. The man who wanted us to wait outside when we first got there ended up being our server. I ordered my last couple drinks and saw my tab at just over $100 so when I went to close out I expected it to be around $120-$130… I go to close out and see that it is $190. And he was rushing to swipe my card to where I had to block the card reader to keep him from swiping it. I look at the tablet and between my last order and closing out, he charged the additional 30minutes to my tab ($50 or $60). I took him back to the lady from earlier and she cleared it up, but it seemed a little sketchy how he tried tacking that on since we already discussed with them who was paying for the room. The two ladies that were working I would give 5/5 but otherwise it was not the best experience

It is a fantastic place to make a reservation for a big party for karaoke night. There are plenty of song options to choose from! I enjoyed my time here for my friend's birthday party karaoke night.

Very cool and completely digitalized rooms, the decor is beautiful, karaoke stage and full bar at the front entrance, so a room is not necessary unless you want a private party. I'd definitely recommend and would definitely go back.

We held my husband's 30th birthday get-together here last weekend, and we all had a great time! Staff was very friendly and the drinks were good. Only complaints I have are that twice the audio from the mic from another room sounded in ours; someone came quickly to fix it both times though. Also, extending the time by 30 minutes was 65 dollars which I think is high. We bit the bullet and paid it since my in-laws were visiting for the first time and we wanted the fun to continue.

We had so so much fun singing and dancing until the wee hours of the morning. The atmosphere is stunning. Make reservations dependent on your group size. This is a medium room (right, Blair?)You order your drinks in your room and use the iPad on the wall to choose all the songs in the. I hope there will be more artist selections.

We had so much fun at the W. Service was good but grumpy. One person was extremely rude but the rest were ok. We were surprised to be carded at the door since we are all over 50. No biggie but just something to be aware of.

Walked in and hostess said they couldn’t accommodate us unless we had a reservation. Asked if that was easy to do online, she said yes but it’s 70 dollars an hour and that doesn’t look like something for us. Um, ok? We just spent 600 on dinner at Capital Grille and I’m wearing 2000 dollar Louis Vuitton boots. Teach your people to read the room a lil better because clearly they are not too bright. Can’t wait to hear their lame half a** response, like they do with everyone else. An actual reputable establishment wouldn’t have to clap back to SO MANY negative reviews. LAME

Had my surprise 40th bday party here and hands down the BEST! The location, the atmosphere, the STAFF! All just top notch! We have alot of bdays/graduation party etc coming up! We are already planning our next few there! We will be back and SOON!
