Great venue! Lots of parking, free. Lobby spacious, snacks and beverages offered for sale. Special VIP room for those who donate and are members. Comfortable seating,. We are Commodores, good sound. Upcoming entertainment include Ben Bailey from Cash Cab and others.
This was our 2nd time seeing a concert here. Have to say this time, sound quality wasn't the best, I believe it was the band and not the auditoriums fault. We still had a great time. Update 11/11/2023: Greg and I went to see "Toast" tribute band for "Bread." We will definitely see this group again. They sound great together with awesome harmony. The Vista Center has really comfortable seating, and the venue is kept very clean. Nice clean restrooms. They do serve beer $8.00 per can, wine $12.00 for a 6 oz ( Cab and Chard), small bags of chips (lunch size bags). I saw they served Jack Daniels, but I'm not sure if they had more. O, they also had 2 different White Claws.
First time there, it's a very nice facility, and has a great auditorium.
Drum Line show. Very talented group of musicians. Volume way too loud. You can feel the bass drum, not hear it. WAY TOO LOUD. Volunteers in the lobby were handing out ear plugs at intermission. Absolutely no reason for it to be that loud. We left at the intermission. Volunteers are very willing to help with seating, but should be taught that if their flashlight is on, it is pointed at the floor only. Not shining in the eyes of people sitting in the dark.
One star is too much for the performance of Ben Bailey and his lead in act. Having asked several volunteers if this program was family friendly and being informed they didn't think the Center would have entertainment that wasn't, what a surprise to be assaulted by the ongoing profanity and subject matter. There was nothing funny about it and 10 minutes was all I could stand. Better identification of the content of the comedians (adults only/RR) in the future would be appreciated and I will be better informed about the personage before purchasing tickets. The Vista Center for the Arts is a wonderful addition to the community and I have enjoyed every event I have attended until Saturday night. Janice Hobson
Last night we had the joyful experience of attending The Drumline performance. Wow! Energy, music and holiday celebration to the top of the chart! The musicians were fabulous and the dancers amazed us with their unending beautiful moves. Hope they come back!
This was our first time visiting the Vista Center for the Arts, and we were very impressed! The venue has ample parking, comfortable seating, and great sound quality to enjoy the performances! We saw TOAST, the ultimate Bread Experience, and were reminded of what great music David Gates and his mates created. What a fantastic evening we enjoyed at the Vista Center - we'll be watching the calendar for upcoming events!
Three Dog Night put on an amazing show. Not a bad seat in the House
