The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - Featured Reviews (213)
We stayed here again as part of our DVC booking, the property doesn't disappoint, it's a great place to holiday.||We were there for our wedding in Disneys Wedding Pavilion (which is amazing as a venue!). The rooms are fresh, clean and tidy and look like brand new, the one bedroom villa that we chose was big enough for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children), we had a super king sized bed, a double Murphy bed and a single Murphy bed too.||You can use all amenities across the resort, although we tensed to stay round the pool with the slide. Shout out to Barry and the pool bar team who were great every day.||We made the right decision making this our home resort!
Very nice resort and rooms are excellent. Similar to the Riviera layouts and size. Had a great experience at this resort and plenty to see do, eat and drink. Very busy resort but spacious enough that it doesn't feel too crowded. Accessibility to the monorail gives you great options to visit other resorts the monorails stop at, so it basically expands you're area.
The Grand Floridian is by far my favorite of all the Disney hotels.
It's Victorian style gives it a lot of charm.
Already, the hotel staff is super smiley and helpful. Every month you have different activities that can be done at the hotel with the "recreation" department. Painting, crafts, tie dye, etc. What's better than having a full schedule during a rainy day. the boutiques of the greater Floridian are also filled with unique items from their collection; loungefly backpack, handbag, wallet, silk scarf, etc. This is the only hotel that I can say has a "collection" in their name.
The Grand Floridian is an optimal place to stay if you are visiting the Magic Kingdom, but these villas are disappointing. They sleep 5 and I can’t imagine a family being comfortable in this small space. Only one working dresser drawer, no night stand on the one side of the bed make this DVC room a one and for us.
We had a great time during our stay! The hotel and grounds were great, and the room was spacious and clean. We also really enjoyed Citricos and the Beauty and the Beast-themed bar. We also had a great view of the fireworks on NYE! My only complaint is that the designated smoking areas were not enforced and should be strictly. Kids shouldn't be forced to deal with secondhand smoke in unexpected areas.
We went for Christmas. We had a large family trip and this was the only time that worked for our school and work schedules. The villas were very quiet and peaceful even during this super busy time. The resort was quieter from 12/22-12/24. It looks like more guests arrive for the week between Christmas and New Years. It got very busy on the 26, 27, 28. The resort is extremely clean and upkept. The only difficulty was the Villas front desk staff. They had an attitude of "not my problem" even though they were fully in charge of booking rooms. We stayed in two different levels, a deluxe studio for 3 nights and then a 2-bedroom for the remaining 7 days of our stay when additional family members joined us. They gave us the worst room for our studio stay. It was much smaller than the other studios and was supposed to be lakeview (which costs more), which you could only see if you strained your neck. It was also located on the 1st floor. It was not the nice room we envisioned. I don't know that I would ever spend more for a better view given what they booked us in. Then for the 2-bedroom stay, they again tried to place us in the worst room in the building. I refused and said we would wait for another room to become available... They gave me a lot of attitude, said they could not accommodate, that nothing else was available... yet miraculously they found 2 other room options within 5 minutes. This was our first stay at the villas at DVC members, I did not expect that on a welcome home visit, they would try to stick us in the very worst rooms. It was incredibly disappointing. When you spend over $40,000 on DVC you don't expect to get the bottom of the barrel at a deluxe resort.
Beautiful design, amazing view specially for the sunrise , very good service, people are nice but for the money that paying for 3 bedrooms suit. The bathroom was the only reason that I give 3 stars. Really wanted to take a long shower to relax after the whole day in the park but equipment of the bath was really outdated don’t even mention the shampoo, shower gel feel like the same as a $50 motel.
We stayed at the villas building and our kind requests were granted to overlook the monorail and be on high floor (5th floor assigned). Remarkable stay as the fourth Disney resorts vacations (wilderness lodge/riviera/Polynesian) for our family of 5. Lovely cast members, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Comfortable studios with everything you will need and more as it is with Disney high standards. Gorgeous grounds even with the big thanksgiving crowds, all the remodeling and nearby constructions. Loved it as much as we loved our Riviera Resort stay. If you are thinking about where to stay split your stay bewteen these two for a magical time and surpassed expectations. Only recommendations would be to:|1. Always (all times of a checkin) offer help for luggage transportation to the rooms, even if it has to be just lending the hotel cart for some time so the guests can go up and about|2. Install additional hangers for towels, wet or dressing clothes |3. Increase cleaning supervision at any time in shared bathrooms since poop was sticked to the villas building floor on the night we arrived at 930pm.|4. Empty trash cans in the rooms on a daily basis and remove any towels found in the floor.

Just got back from a 5 day trip and this was just major convenience all around. We had a 1 bedroom villa with all the space and comfort we needed. Quick walks to rooms, easy access to Epcot, sky liner, tons of food option and so much more! Very
2nd time here in the past 12 months. Very chilled & generally quiet resort. Staff are friendly & helpful as you'd expect from a Disney hotel.
Public transport to the parks is very convenient & regular.

This hotel is opulent but VERY pricey. I'm normally a Pop Century kind of guy. The beds are the same comfort level to the best of my observation. Grand is so quiet and well located. The quick service food choices are much more limited at the Gran
