The Village Dallas - Apartment complex in Dallas - 5605 Village Glen Dr, USA

The Village offers a lot of opportunities to make new friends and have a great time. Residents have access to a great workout facility, restaurants, and a modern resort-style pool. Since the Village is located in central Dallas it also makes it easy to get around the city with little effort. I recommend living here. Special thanks to Ellie in the Sales and Tours office for taking me on a tour of the Village and showing me multiple apartments which met my overall housing needs. After selecting a place over at the Meadows she followed up with me during the leasing application process to ensure that everything was moving along so I could get moved into my new apartment in a just a few days.

Nice vibes and vegan options available for food. I had a dish with noodles and wontons and it was pretty tasty. The drinks were just average to me. I was not a fan of the Tech music for several hours. I mean, they switched DJs and the next one played the same Tech music. But for beach or vacay feel it’s a good spot to visit and mingle.

Sales Team at the main office, they are great, they are nice. The fact is they don’t have much option to show the units but the models. Models units are amazing. To get a tour of available units, they make you fill application and deposits, total of $300 or plus. Assuming the units are going to be satisfying, it turns out something is not right, either they are at the corner side dark, or the walls are so different and ugly. There are other many apartments which is far better in the same price. I checked out the unit, I wasn’t too sure and after a careful consideration I chose not to continue with the unit they showed me. I requested for the refund, they started explaining the situation. They should charge $50 for application that’s fair and should allow customers to tour the units, but without the deposits, if deposits has been taken and customer don’t like/want the unit, it should be an easy refund process. No questions asked, no explanation required! Make it simple!

I had did a tour with Ashton and must I say hands down the best experience ever. She was extremely personable, caring and fun!! I really enjoyed the tour. I ended up applying the next day and got an approved I am so excited to start this new chapter of life!! Shout out to Ashton, keep up the amazing work and keep being you!

Love this place! Everyone is always so nice and welcoming! I attended an event in the greenhouse kitchen area and thought it was very well decorated. I especially love the staff at The Drey! They are always so sweet and professional, especially Autumn!

I absolutely love The Village ! I move in soon but the process has been so quick and easy, they are very on top of their work and they mean business. The ladies are the sweetest leasing agents I’ve ever met, especially Jen. Jen went above and beyond for me, she made sure the process went smooth as whipped butter, she is not just a leasing agent, she is a friend. Since I’ve applied here, i have recommended other friends to live here as well, solely because of Jen and her outstanding dedication to helping her clients. They move in soon and have all said the same thing. You don’t need anything else when you move here, just yourself and your belonging, they will take care of you. I know a helpful leasing agent sounds like an ironic exaggeration but Jen has proved that apartment complexes and leasing agents have the capacity to be honest, helpful and sweet to their tenants. I feel at ease whenever i come into the office, it’s like a home away from home. If you’re on the fence just apply !! They will work with you. Make sure you apply with Jen !!!

I honestly wouldn’t recommend living here anymore. It used to be great. It used to be reasonably priced with the great amenities, but now they’re open to the public so it defeats the purpose of paying extra for an older apartment to have access to these “amenities”. They charge residents for “discounted price” on special events and for the new area called “Sandy Pickle” when we thought we’re already paying to have access to these?? The Country Club Area also smells like weed during these events, it’s terrible. Since it’s been open to the public, crime has also increased in the neighborhoods. There has been a lot of break ins. Our friends and neighbors had their cars broken in. The most recent one being this week. It does not feel as safe as it used to. Front desk staff is helpful from getting you in the apartment and making you feel welcomed. The maintenance is okay, but we’ve had to contact so many people to figure out updates on our requests since there’s almost zero communication… If they come in while you’re gone you’re not informed of what they found or the next step. This is a fault in the system not the maintenance people (they’ve been wonderful). We’ve had a maintenance request that took almost 2 months to resolve. We’re understanding, but there was little to no communication on the plan for resolution that it became incredibly frustrating. Overall I wouldn’t recommend living here with the direction it’s going. If you want to enjoy the Village amenities, just live close by in a newer, updated apartment and you’ll have access to them!

I've lived at the village Hills for almost 10 years everything was great, I feel ever since the new construction was built they forgot about the older apt complex maintenance is so bad the plumbing OMG shutting off the water is more frequent. Trash is just piling up maintenance doesn't bother to keep things clean. Please do something about this.
