Our stay at The Villa Agave was a delight. The whole Villa was sumptuously decorated with exquisite textiles, natural fibers and art that made me really stop and enjoy. Because there were so many inviting nooks, it was easy to share the space with the other guests, and still felt like we had all the spacious solitude we craved. We enjoyed the wrap-around-deck for yoga and mediation. Our room was cozy, spacious and inviting. We had a sweet connection with Bonnie, the host. Her stand for environmental stewardship is an inspiration. The land was splendid, as were the sunrises. We took several turns around the hiking path and enjoyed taking family photos on the lovely patio, with the Villa’s stunning architecture as our backdrop. The breakfasts during our stay were a nourishing and artful three courses with seasonal and organic morsels. Bonnie cheerfully accommodated the many varied dietary restrictions in our party - no small feat. We look forward to returning!

I have been to the Villa Agave on three occasions for our annual girl friends weekend, and I highly recommend it as great retreat spot. I always leave feeling like it’s never enough time. Bonnie is the most engaging host who has a vast amount of knowledge about tequila! You don’t want to miss the tasting, even if you know nothing about the wonderful agave. ||She is also a heartfelt earth steward, who cares deeply about the natural environment. The wild animals who visit and live on her property are welcomed and nourished by her always flowing fountain. She even built a special step for small critters, in case they fall in. Not to mention the bird condo she created for nesting birds looking for a protected area away from predators. This is a kindness not often seen and it say’s a lot about who Bonnie is.||The Villa itself is immaculate and beautiful with views of the surrounding hills and trees that breath a sense of calm and serenity. The beds are so comfy, I always leave feeling nourished and refreshed.||One last thing, on the morning of our arrival, I had inquired about getting a massage. It was a last minute request and I didn’t think it would happen, but Bonnie put in a call and two of us were able to get a massage, right there on the property in the Spa room. We didn’t have to go anywhere and it was a great way to start our visit!||All in all, I highly recommend Villa Agave!

If you are looking for a beautiful property surrounded by exquisite views with an extraordinary host, then you’ve found it! With so many nearby activities, from wine tasting to river rafting, and a sense of nature out every window, Villa Agave does not disappoint. ||We had so much fun enjoying the surrounding areas, walking the property, sipping wine and tequila on the deck overlooking the valley, and enjoying wonderful cuisine at nearby restaurants. ||The breakfast was divine and the host went out of her way to ensure we had a unique and memorable time. ||As a world traveler with high expectations, I unequivocally recommend Villa Agave. This is the third time our group of friends have stayed at the Villa and we will keep coming back again and again.

Beautifully secluded Vila with an amazingly gracious host. Bonnie is a beautiful soul and is so warm and welcoming. We were treated like royalty. Highly recommend Vila Agave whether you are planning a retreat, reunion, or any other occasion.

We stayed here as part of a road trip to explore California. It was a brilliant find.||The property is well maintained and very clean. There are three bedrooms/suites with a shared sitting dining area and sun terrace with great views. A lot of thought has gone into the design and furnishing of the property and it really works well.||The owner (Bonnie) really goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent - fresh fruit, homemade quiche and pastry with champagne and/or Orange Juice.||A Tequila tasting session is included - Bonnie really knows her stuff and is growing Agave to start producing her own in a few years time. ||Apparently not many Brits visit this area which is a surprise as it’s both unspoilt and interesting. || A brilliant bed and breakfast run by an exceptionally caring owner. There was nothing not to like about our stay and we hope to visit again.

We had our wedding at the Villa Agave and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Bonnie was an amazing host! The villa is stunningly beautiful. We were treated to a custom tequila tasting for our bridal party, 3 delicious breakfasts, and a super comfortable room. Bonnie hit the perfect balance between privacy for us and our guests, and availability to help with anything we might need. Before and during our stay, Bonnie was communicative and generous, and worked with us to make sure we had the perfect experience. I would recommend this place to anyone considering it, whether you’re looking for an event space or a quiet romantic retreat. We had a lovely time and would do it again in a heartbeat!

Bonnie is a fabulous hostess! Her beautiful home is the perfect retreat to relax in. My husband had to get up early for work & Bonnie had a 3 course organic breakfast with fresh hot French Press coffee waiting for him every morning. After I dropped him off I was greeted with a fantastic breakfast & coffee too! She is so friendly and sweet and always making our stay perfect. She treated us to a fun tequila tasting! Can’t wait to try her tequila once it is made! Save me a couple bottles Bonnie. Our room was fabulous, the bed was so comfortable the bathroom was so spacious and the view was breathtaking!

Bonnie hosted us at her fabulous abode as part of a weekend retreat. I can't say enough about how fabulous the location, she, and her beautiful villa were - making the retreat all the more special. The natural surroundings and Bonnie's warm personality were unexpected bonuses. If you enjoy nature, a beautiful villa, super comfortable beds (!) and generous hospitality then you can't go wrong staying here. I can't wait to come back!

Quaint, comfortable, definitely worth the visit. Scones and latte were good. The rosemary lemon scone was a little heavy on the rosemary. Will I go back, ABSOLUTELY! Take a walk around the old town while you're here.
