We highly recommend VHS. We used them to mount and install a number of TVs, sound bars, Sonos amps, and an equipment rack. They do quality work at a fair price. Great communication and follow up. 10/10.

Doug was a pleasure to work with. He got back to me quickly with my request and my smart lock was installed within the week. Install was smooth and quick and was priced very reasonably. I will be using them again in the future and would highly recommend.

After reading reviews on google for Virtual Home Services it was an easy choice to call and schedule an appointment. The response was fast the quote was more than fair for the work I was asking for. I needed over 8 POE Lan drops ran through an attic I knew my mobility was not the best choice to perform the work. I also needed 6 external cameras mounted to complete my home network. Doug came out and answered every question I had. It was clear from the start he was knowledgeable, and my installation would not be a problem. The communication was on point, and I was contacted on the install day with an ETA. The workmanship of him and his team were fantastic. They only needed 1 small access hole in the wall which they patched to my satisfaction and even installed cable brackets in the attic for all runs to create a clean off the attic floor install. This attention to detail on even non visible areas is how it should be done for any future cable runs or attic insulation upgrades. The cable runs were neatly bundled, the camera boxes were sealed on the outside to prevent moisture penetration and when the install was completed I had NO mess to clean up. Doug offered suggestions, choices, and valuable input where needed for things I may not have thought about and did a final walkthrough before he left to make sure I had no concerns. Doug also personally followed up with me two days later to make sure things were still satisfactory. From start to finish VHS did a 5 star job and I could not be happier. Should any further needs arise for myself or anyone I know, far and away I will recommend VHS.

I was having issues with getting good WiFi signal through out my house. Doug came over and helped upgrade my hardware and now I have great reception through out the house. While he was there I mentioned that I was planning on installing cameras, and mounting a few tvs but I just hadn’t got around to it. Doug was able to do all of it! The best part was that the cords for the tv were hidden in the wall. Now I don’t have to look at unsightly cords while I watch The Wheel of Fortune. I’m gonna miss Pat Sajak, but I won’t miss those cords! Ok. I have to go now. Bye.

I had Doug install a Ring floodlight cam for my backyard and it was a very fast and smooth process. He even patched up a hole in the wall that the electrician made during the installation of the junction box. If you’re considering having security cameras installed in your home, I strongly recommend VHS. I just bought a new house and am not the most handy guy in the world, so I’ll definitely be contacting them for all my smart home technology needs in the future.

We had another shop in town install a wifi system in our home while it was being built a few years ago and it was a nightmare. We finally decided to just strip out the system and replace it. After having a few bids done we chose Doug and VHS. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and a great value compared to the market. He is very clear on his pricing and you know exactly what you’re going to get. He and his team communicated well during the process and left our home clean and fully connected. The change in our wifi was immediately noticed and I will be having VHS back in my home for more work.

As someone who works in Enterprise IT (Datacenter and Cloud) VHS impressed me immensely. They know their stuff better than any company I've worked with in St. Louis by far. They were very professional and extremally fair on pricing. They came in way under budget and added a lot of value such as sourcing networking equipment I was unable to find on my own. If you need Smart Home installation, PoE Cameras, or even wiring your house up with ethernet (or fiber) this company is your best choice in St. Louis without question. I had other company's that were traditional handy man companies that didn't understand the tech and wanted to charge me more than double what VHS charged me. The work I had completed: Cat6a ran throughout my house for PoE Cameras, Wifi Access Points, and RJ45 wall outlets. I now have 10Gbe for my home which will make my Wifi much faster and more stable. I will be using them again for future smart home stuff. If you are building a home you need to have VHS at least wire it up with ethernet.
