What I found out trying to ship a package, i always buy my own labels when shipping, always directly from the shipper. I was gonna buy a label, for a package, it was 18.93 with signature request. I thought I’d buy it directly from the ups store because I wanted to get a package or box that says UPS. I get there I ask for a UPS package, they are trying to sell me packages. I said no, you know the free ups packages. They have none there. Then it made sense, they never have them because they are free. So I was gonna ship it anyway, for the same service I looked up before, they want $57.35!!! How did it more than double!?! That is crazy! I will continue to go to the actual UPS location to get free packages, and buy my labels directly from them. Only upside about this place, the people that work the counter, they are nice.

Went in to send a package via UPS, brought in my own label and tape, I purchased one white med/large envelope to send my package. I didn't ask for a receipt only to be environmentally friendly and plus it's UPS a had my code I could track my package via the web, two days later its like it hasn't been sent. I called the UPS store there response was everything was and has been picked up; to this day my package seems to be in limbo. ALWAYS ask for your receipt when sending a package, it's the only proof you have. They did give me a receipt for the envelope I purchased maybe that will help...
I came in to ship a package recently, and an associate named Rachel tended to my needs. She had such a polite tone and was very patient with me and didn't make me feel rushed. I felt very welcomed with her.
I use this UPS frequently to ship out items but I went there a couple weeks ago to ship glass and had them
Package it and it went to my destination in pieces. This week I paid an extra 15 dollars to have them package my glass items and the person assured me everything would be ok because an I paid for fragile packaging and they can even put fragile on the box. Again my package was delivered broken and in pieces. Be wary when shipping fragile items.
My recent experience at the UPS Store in Holbrook, NY was a sad one. I brought an Amazon return and I had not sealed the box with tape. I did not realize I had to do this. I was told to pay $2.50 but instead I went home and did it myself. The owner of the store was a disappointment. I shared that never in all my times going to a UPS store was I asked to do this. Good customer service would have been to say we will do it this time but know going forward you will need to do this yourself. I would certainly have made sure to never return with an item not sealed. Instead I was lectured that I did not follow instructions and wanted a free service. If as the owner and manager customer service is not a focus then I am concerned not only for his business but I am embarrassed for UPS. Do yourself a favor and go to the Sayville store. Great service there.
Went to send back a package when I went there the only girl that works there apparently said it would be cheaper to wrap it yourself. So I did that went back today she told me that they can’t send it back like that after telling me it would be cheaper to wrap it up myself. I had to get a box anyways that cost me more then the item. Unbelievable.
The employee that helped me at the Holbrook UPS Store was very kind & informative. He made everything go smoothly. He did everything quickly, but I did not feel rushed at all.
