Even though the place is quite small, we had a lot of fun. My baby enjoyed watching the trains and all Christmas trees and decorations. Will be back next year.
We went on a Friday just before Christmas and it was terribly crowded and hard to enjoy for my kids. Glad to support a good cause (Ronald McDonald House) and the “Easter eggs” for adults are fun to find (Spider-Man, Moses, Gumby, etc). Choose an off peak time if at all possible and plan to spend time walking the rest of the mall to see the other wonderful decorations.
there is a MASSIVE need for reservations. the overstimulation for adults and children from being packed in like sardines is a tremendous letdown
Trains are very nice and what they have is great but the place is way to smalls and cramped up. Kids enjoyed it but not more than 30 mins.
It's for a great cause. The trains are well done & fun. The scavenger hunt really makes it interactive & fun!
Too commercialized. The trains were cute but they’ve packed advertisements onto every square inch of the display. Some are “donors” and some are just pathetic money grabs, like a full display replica of a Sewell car dealership.
This is not the spirit of Christmas. I’d heard great things about this display in years past but I’ll never go back.
The place is small, and they really do need to expand. HOWEVER, the smile on our 5 year-old grandson’s face, and his interest and 100% attention on this display made the size of the space irrelevant. Plus, the scavenger hunt is a great idea.. very interactive. Worth the visit and for a great cause.
We always enjoy the trains at North Park. As the grandkids love discovering different super heroes mixed in to the diaramas. Worth the visit every time.

I am so SO glad Jazzercise classes were on my Christmas list (and that they were gifted to me early). I was a bit nervous at first, but soon realized that the classes are FUN and there is absolutely no judgement. I feel stronger each time I leave!
