We threw an 140-person disco party as the welcome party for our wedding weekend. I started planning this event with Kimberly almost a year before the actual event.. and she was incredible. We rented out the 3 floors , got pizza's & cookies, had incredible staff on all 3 floors.. a dj.. a photographer.. it was simply the best.
Could not recommend Kimberly or her team at the Thaxton enough -- the drinks were delicious, the space was beautiful and everyone was on time! + Kimberly response time is second to none.
Thank you so much
I can’t say enough nice things about The Thaxton. This place is just B E A UTIFUL, from head to toe. All art deco and original art. We had our wedding and reception in the building. The ceremony was small, on their balcony/ mezzanine level overlooking the grand hall. And the reception followed on three floors complete with two bars. If you want a seamless, low stress timeline, this is the place. The owner, Kim, and the “groundskeeper,” Mad Dog, have such an attention to detail. They will help you with things you didn’t even take into consideration. And they will guide you every step of the way. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone!
Really fun experience. The server really engaged well and made me feel welcome, which helped being alone in a strange town. The Doorman was also really down to earth and friendly, and even watched to make sure I made it to my ride safely.
It wasn't my favorite. The entry experience is interesting. I was in town on my own and wanted to hit up some local spots. I didn't know the password and someone else waiting outside let me in on the secret .. staff was friendly. The inside is decorated well... I liked the bar set up... I really just wasn't impressed with the drinks.
When you enter you are given a table. It took me a moment/10+ minutes to figure out you need to go to the bar ... order...pay and then they bring the drinks out. I got the Five Alarm Jazz Drummer because I like a spicy drink...I wasn't really impressed ... I liked the Blueberry Sage French 75 more.
Where to I begin with how AMAZING the team and venue @ the Thaxton are. My wife and I had our wedding there on 2/4/22 and it was absolutely perfect from top to bottom. Kim and the staff at the venue went above and beyond to make our night very special. They helped us traverse a blizzard and made such a great experience for our guests. The venue is just as spectacular as the staff, from the ceremony to the reception, everything was perfect. The staff was helpful, the drinks were great, and they did all they could to really make a memorable evening. All of our friends and family were blown away by the spot and have been talking about how great it and the wedding were since then.
I would HIGHLY recommend this place for a night out for drinks, or a large scale ceremony and reception for your event. You will not be disappointed.
Everything was amazing!!! From the super down to earth door man, Nature and his hilarious and laid back demeanor, to the quick and friendly staff, to the atmosphere, the service, the drinks. It was amazing!! Also a 10/10 place to get ENGAGED!!! ❤️
1st time. Loved the atmosphere. Was concerned about a dress code, but found there is no dress code. Opted to wear jeans and a nice shirt. It's a great atmosphere to dress up if you want. Fun night with a small group. Highly recommend.
My husband and I had our wedding and reception at the Thaxton on 5/6/17. The day could not have gone more smoothly and that is due largely in part to the wonderful staff at the Thaxton. During the planning phase, I was blown away with how organized Peter (the owner) was. He knew exactly how our evening would flow the best and made great suggestions based on our needs. He was also always extremely responsive and helpful via email during this time. He was present to lead our rehearsal at the venue the day before the event, which as a nervous bride, put my mind at ease that everything was under control. On the day, we were able to access the venue early to take photographs, which was ideal due to our timeline. Throughout the evening him and his staff, notably Mad Dog, lead the evening flawlessly. Mad Dog's attention to detail was remarkable, including ensuring my husband and I were happy and being taken care of throughout the evening. We received nothing but praise from our guests on their experience at our event. The venue is absolutely unique and gorgeous. Our photos came out amazing. I could not be more happy with our experience here and would absolutely recommend this venue for not only weddings, but any larger event. We cannot begin to express our thanks to the venue staff!
Iâve been with BarreSTL since April 2023, and Iâm so glad I found this studio! I was very in to working out before pregnancy, but had felt defeated after 4 births in 5 years. I felt like I could never make time for working out and getting strong
I love Blue Sky! The studio itself is beautiful, and has a very warm and inviting atmosphere. They have a great range of classes, and all of the teachers are very kind and helpful. Itâs such a great part of the community, I appreciate their wonderf

Iâve been twice for the Yes Move class and it is SO much fun! I hadnât worked out publicly in years and felt really self conscious about starting to again, but this class is so relaxed, so fun, and no one cares what you look like or how good of a
