I ordered French Onion soup. Unfortunately, it was way too salty. I'm not sure if it was just the cheese on the top or combined with the broth. I ate the cheese and a little of the broth. It still was too much. The rest of my food came out very quickly so there wasn't time to do anything about this. Later, when paying for my check, I mentioned the situation with the soup to the server. I was not looking to get a rebate or to not pay for the soup. I just wanted to let the kitchen know about it so they would not continue to serve it as it was. I was not charged for the soup. This was a nice gesture but not expected since I felt like I had eaten too much of it. I appreciate the handling of this.
We enjoy it here each and every time we have been here! Food is usually good and the service is excellent and friendly. It’s a great place to relax and have a conversation without all the noise. We’ll continue to be customers for days to come!
Stopped by for lunch before heading to the lake. No wait for a table. Our server was the coolest, sweetest young lady!! Drinks: long Island iced tea, boozy coffee. Apps: onion rings and mozzarella sticks with marinara and Melba sauce. We both had burgers and fries. So good!!! Too full for dessert.
Went on Friday the Live 1 man band was so bad and his speaker was so Loud, you could not even hear the server. French Onion Soup was cold & had a odd flavor, Jumbo Chicken Wings were not Jumbo & lacked flavor. The server was nice and the place was clean and looked great inside. So I have mixed reviews, maybe 🤔 if I try a non Live Music day that's less busy 🤔
This place is a good place, the food was pretty good and tasty.
Service was horrible. No one available to seat us and was overly packed with obnoxious drunk patrons. Waited almost 30 minutes to be attended too. Way over priced food options.
Always love coming by The Tavern when I come home to visit mom & dad. Casual, cozy spot with great staff and good food! Beer is always cold too!
Great little pub restaurant opposite the tourist traps. The staff are friendly and attentive. Met one of the owners: John, real nice and down to earth. Loved the food choices, burgers, salads, tapas style options to share as well. All your bar favorites are served cold and well made. They even have a small room for parties or after work get togethers. The outdoor patio complete with TV, and shade cover is what the weatherman order on those cooler evenings to sit outside.
Awesome trails! We are a couple of 60+ year olds, and have been working our way thru the local trails. This one took us almost twice as long than the same distance on Halfway Brook, we really needed to pay attention to the roots and rocks....which is
I brought my daughter and her friend here for her 15th birthday and we had such a great time! The attendant spent a lot of time going over gun safety as we needed it and allowed us to move along at our own pace. He was incredibly kind and patient, wh
Okay first of all, mini golf is pretty popular pastime in the Lake George area. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this location has TWO courses! Thatâs 36 holes total! I believe the prices were $10 per person for one course or $16 to do both
beautiful lit XC skiing trails. trails are groomed with enough room for skate skis and classic XC skis, they also have snowshoeing trails. all the trails seem well marked. absolutely must check this place out!!
This place is a gem! Was craving some delicious Hispanic food and of course, the options in the area were limited. Stopped by La Cocina Mexicana and was pleasantly surprised! Ordered a chicken quesadilla which was fantastic! Filled with veggies and c
