My Father in Law spoke highly of this bar and told us some of the backstory. The service was fun and we enjoyed our cocktails as we made our way around ghe market. They had good vibes all around and the music was good too. All in all I would go back and imagine this place gets fairly busy at times. Be patient and kind to your bartenders people!
Have never made a review before but had to login to make one for this establishment because if it happened to me I’m sure it has happened to others. They ILLEGALLY added a $5 tip to my bill after paying with my debit card. Went out Saturday night and bought two drinks that came to a total of $13 and I paid with my debit card and left no tip. Monday morning I check my bank account statement and I was charged $18 at The Tavern. It is quite unfortunate that an establishment I’ve liked ended up doing something ILLEGAL. I had never seen this bartender there before, if I was management I’d strongly reconsider who was just hired before this kind of behavior begins to become common and the doors to The Tavern are closed permanently.
Chill vibes, tried the “white tea” for the first time and did not disappoint.
What an incredible transformation. The cocktails are unique, fresh, and well balanced, and the atmosphere and decor provide a great space to meet friends or bring a date for a loungey-pub feel.
Been here on many occasions with a nice experience. Whomever is bartending tonight was not the greatest at customer experience. Zero personality, couldn't care less that we were there and then slammed the check and pen down on the bar without a thank you or thanks for stopping by. Do better!
Zero customer service. (Not for the first time.) When I tried to ask friendly, conversational questions, bartenders were flat out rude and didn’t even try to talk to me until it came time to pay. Clientele were also hostile to me when trying to have the ONE discussion that I was able to get from the bartender. Very cliquey place. If it’s a basic drink you’re looking for, look elsewhere. Everything here is mediocre at best. I like to be reasonable with reviews but it’s hard to when every experience I’ve had here has ended with me wishing I’d spent my money elsewhere. Seriously, go somewhere else.
I love The Tavern and trying their specialty cocktails! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the price is on point!

We had our grandson birthday party at Bucky Dexter's. What a fun place and everyone was so very nice. We enjoyed playing darts and pool. I highly recommend Bucky Dexter's. You won't be disappointed!
Jimmy is a good guy. He slaves over a fryer for taco Wednesday's. Has a pool table and shuffle board table. This is a bar filled with usuals. Popcorn is always on tap. You should stop by some day.
