This is my new favorite spot in Boulder City. We came here after a morning of kayaking in Willow Beach with our dog. We were very hungry and were looking for a dog-friendly restaurant in the area. This was the first place to come up on Yelp, so we decided to come here. It wasn't very busy at 3pm on a Saturday, and we were seated immediately outside by a fan. The fan was a really nice touch considering it was 90+ degrees outside. We got a couple of beers, the runner which was a banana and blueberry (I think) sour for me and a cider for the wife. I'm not usually a sour person but this one hit the spot for me. As for the food, my wife had the meat lovers pizza and I had the shogun burger, both of which were excellent. I also loved their fries; they were very crispy and tasted like freshly cut potatoes and new oil was used. The service was amazing too, our server and a very young gentleman took care of us and frequently checked on us during our meal. The best part is even though they didn’t have a dedicated “dog menu”, our server was kind enough to put an order in for just a hamburger patty with no seasoning for our pup. That is going above and beyond! We will definitely come back here when we are in Boulder City. This is truly my new favorite place.
We stopped by Boulder City on our way back to California and also for visiting Hoover Dam. The Tap was very nice and gave us the good expression about the city and locals. We had the dog traveling with us. So I looked for the restaurant dog friendly. Then we found this place. The manager who has a Yorkshire served us. Super nice guy and very sweet. They had the very good beer selection. We had the fruity sour and cider. The food is also super good. Fries are sooooo crunchy. So nice and definitely will come back one day!
This place was a pleasant surprise as it was not what we expected. The other reviews make it seem as though it's a fancier restaurant but more like its a bar with a much higher class kitchen crew. The atmosphere is great there was only a bartender there who did a great job. We had a small wait on food but it was explained to us when we walked in the door. They had a bus full of people on the way who pre-ordered. 100% would come back here if I'm in the area again.
OMG! You will not be expecting the quality and tast of the food. It was so pleasant to sit outside under the misters even in 103 degree weather! The food was very delicious, portions were larger than I expected them to be. The staff were so much fun even while getting carded making the entire table get carded too.
Relaxing late lunch Sunday, 1/29/2023 Great Cesar salad with grilled chicken, seasoned just right. Hubs had the 7” pepperoni pizza and the delicious Thai salad. The bartender made sure we didn’t run out of brews. Great place to watch a Sunday game and eat good food. Nice job ‘Tap’!
New ownership I believe. Can be very busy at weekends as it's primarily a sports bar. They occasionally have live music and the food is good. They have a large range of beers and the very popular twisted tea. I was very impressed with the ladies serving in the daytime. Very courteous always happy and welcoming.
This place is AMAZING! We had just finished a 5hr kayaking trip on the river and we're HUNGRY! We had just left the Southwest Diner because of the bad service. So we just happened upon this great food spot. The moment we walked in Alissa was warm and welcoming. I was indecisive on the beers-so she brought samples. The food was great, the wings with strawberry and jalapeño sauce was incredible. (Coming from a guy that gets wings EVERYWHERE I go!) The beer selection is vast and the service, food and atmosphere are great! We would highly recommend this place and go back!
This place is definitely a hidden gem of Bolder City. Absolutely amazing food, that we almost lick the plates clean, super friendly staff that aim to please. The outstanding Bartender and his drinks were on point. The owner was so nice and made our experience extra special. Truly recommend this place to dine in an have a drink or two. 😋😋😋😋😋
I had the Taco Omelette with sourdough bread toast. The Omelette was huge with an extremely generous amount of taco meat inside, and the sourdough was delicious. My wife enjoyed her Philly Steak sandwich, too.
Great spot to go check out at night. Great view of Boulder City and Las Vegas. Be careful coming up, as there are a lot of twists and turns! Definitely worth the visit.
Been in Vegas over 20 years. My father and 2 uncle are buried at the Veteran's Cemetery across the street and today was my first trip to the BEAUTIFUL park! There's a nice pond and then there's a lake where people were fishing. Really quiet, lots
This is a really neat place to stop by, go for a quick hike, and take some cool photos. The statues are awesome. You can get some scenic photos as well, especially during sunset. I must disclose that when we were there, around sunset, there were some
HIGHLY recommended - just as informative (if not more) than the actual Visitor Center at Hoover Dam. It is inside the hotel but it is otherwise free and open to the public. Very informative exhibits, specifically about the workers themselves.
