Stumbled upon this amazing family owned, cooked to order authentic Mexican food while on a weekend trip to Oceanside for soccer. I saw the line outside after spending some time at the beach and knew this was the local spot!! I ordered a few different tacos to try the different meats. Also ordered the shrimp burrito that did not disappoint!! I suggest ordering as much as you can and a variety. There will be a wait as previously mentioned everything is cooked to order. Fresh tortillas a la plancha. I spent my time talking with the friendly staff while prepping my salsa at the salsa bar.

The line was long but went fast. They are very efficient with ordering and service. The tasty tacos, chips, and guacamole are worth it.

I've eaten Mexican food around a lot of San Diego, and both my wife and I couldn't stop raving about the food at this place. The Carne asada was probably more tender than any place I can remember, with amazing flavor that just made me want more. The fish taco was absolutely amazing as well, perfectly crisp and juicy still. And actually very fair priced to being a location by the beach. Will certainly be coming back here when he visit again!

This place has fantastic food that tastes wonderful. The tortillas feel fresh, the meats are cooked well and soft. Salsas are free to grab plus every single one does not fail the palate. Brings the explosion of flavors together. Atmosphere is lively and active. The service is good just can be a bit slow at times but besides that highly recommend this spot to anyone who wants some bomb tacos.

Simply stated….the best Al Pastor Tacos (highly recommend this on your order)! The mix with cilantro, onions, pineapple, and the meat is just out of this world. Not to mention the corn tortillas have a beautiful golden yellow color that match in taste. Fish Tacos and burritos are of equal in experience with the highest of quality. The line does get deep at certain times; the obvious with this high of quality of food. Do not fret though, it is worth the wait so just park and chat with your party. The service is so nice and friendly, but speedy as well. Plenty of space inside and out to eat. Premise is super clean as well. On a Main Street, so you will need to look for parking, as there are only 3 spots behind in the ally.

I liked the condiments that were available for self serve. The tacos were good, I just really wish they were crispier! When I order fish tacos I want them to crunch with every bite & these didn’t give me not one crunch :/ . Thankfully I got there before there was a line & snagged a table also. The horchata was good.

Some of the best tacos I have had. The price to quality ratio is unreal. I highly recommend getting the Cameron Shrimp tacos and the Al Pastor. The street corn is on point as well. There is both indoor and outdoor seating at this location and both get full, however that shows how good this place is. Can’t miss this place

Best tacos I've had so far in Encinitas. Place is popular and on the smaller side, so not a lot of seating and the line goes out the door. Because everything is made fresh as you order (this is a good thing!), depending on how busy they are your order can take a few (so order something to snack on, chips and guac, churros, street style corn on the cob, etc.). The food is 100% worth the wait!
